Video sent to Banggood to determine how to fix excessive drifting problem of my new Tarot 130 Quadcopter. When it starts to fly it flies level then after a few seconds it starts to drift to the left. After a minute it takes half the roll stick to keep it in place. Probably flight control board or an esc or motor problem.
This may come from the acc/gyro being sensitive to high frequency
vibrations. You could try soft-mounting the flight controller. Also,
setting up the lowpass and notch filters in betaflight 3 might help.
Does it do this in Acro mode or only in Angle and Horizon?
Be interested how the fix goes
the same with mine
try to do exactly the same what i did:
-leave model on leveled surface and do dot touch the model during the whole
process (if you will need to unplug the USB, do it on USB side, not on
model side)
1.plug in the USB and open CleanFlight (battery unplugged)
2. leave it plugged in for 5-10 minutes to warm up (do not touch it)
3. disconnect from CleanFlight
4. quickly connect again and quickly press “calibrate accelerometer”
5. disconnect from cleanflight after calibration complete
Then – try to fly again, is there any difference?
I had the same problem initially, you need to set the control stick
“mid-point” on your TX to match what is showing on cleanflight.
Also, it will help if you balance your motors using small piece of
electrical tape.
