Tilt Rotor Quadcopter OFM Swift TR260 How tilting works
Upon request from many of my viewers, I am posting this video. Many viewers asked, how tilting works on OFM Swift TR260 Tilt Rotor FPV Racing Quadcopter does. Well, Watch this video description of How the Tilt Rotor Mechanism works on OFM Swift TR260. I will be posting detailed videos of how to program the flight controller and your radio to achieve leveled flights with Tilt Rotor Quadcopter.

Thanks for explaining the concept I should this video before watching the
another because asked how it works
I want a Drone/quadcopter I am a 100% noob, I just want to fly make videos,
I don’t think I want to race. People have been telling me to get the Unique
Q-500 or the Phantom 3.
I would like something that has 20+ min of flight time a good camera, FPV.
Is it cheaper to buy something like the one in this video or what? It would
be nice to have what I want under the price of the Q-500&Phantom. US money.
Thanks love your videos, I always miss out on your garage sales.
At 5.44/46 ther is a spooky whispering for 1 to 2 seconds.
Lokking forward to the next videos explaining how to create the custom
mixer which is controlling the tilting effect :)
Hi
I fly taranis sounds like you are mixing different values to the servo and
the elevator that goes into the flight controller example taken that your
stick values range from -100 to +100 with 0 as the centre point for
elevator value of +50 on the stick you output +50 to the servo but only +10
to the flight controller or around that amount.

I cant believe u finally lowered your price on this awsome quad but its to
late for me to buy one from u cuz i just ordered a new walkera runner250 🙁
its on its way. But ill try to sell it un-open so i can buy ur quad
So how does this work in rate/acro mode where you push forward on the
elevator to get the required angle/speed and then release it back to the
center? When I fly fast in rate/acro mode I’m not holding the elevator
stick forward at all so the motors would go back to a non-tilted position.
Do you have to fly in a self-leveling mode with this quad?
What does the tilt do to the propellers when you fly the quadcopter
Nice explanation Ali! How much degree is max angle fwd?
I just got a more traditional racer (280 calss) with powerful setup and the
ability to mount the arms fixed in 0, 10 or 20 degree fwd angle. I use
10degree now and I’m considering to test 20 soon, but if youre always on 20
fwd the landings are difficult…
I’m curious to see if you concept will find its way into the race scene
soon of if they will see it as an exotic.
I can imagine many racers will just stick with the fixed angle racers
because its easier to build and repair and also lighter.

That is F ing AWESOME !!
Been watching your channel for a while now, and have seen the development
of this quad. Good stuff Ali, great design! I love that I can buy one now!
I think I understand what you did to make a tilt mix. I have a Taranis. So
I should have a “tilt” channel for the servo separate from the elevator
channel. Should I use a switch to swap the stick between elevator channel
and tilt channel, right? Or do you need some percentage of both? like 75%
tilt and 25% elevator in tilt mode, and 0% tilt and 100% elevator in normal
mode.
