If you’re looking for a hassle free FPV racer that’s ready to fly, right out of the box, this just might be it. Get it from here https://goo.gl/xe0qG1 or soon from here https://goo.gl/Zf2QHm . There are much cheaper racers out there. But cheap usually involves a lot of fiddling, modding, and tuning to get them to fly properly. It’s even obvious that some of the cheap ones were never flown by the manufacturer before release. But not with the Furious 215. It was really a pleasure to fly this. The work put into developing and fine tuning this racer is obvious.
Pros
– Didn’t need to change a thing out of the box. Mode switches were set just the way I like them, loaded with latest CF (1.14.2), and PIDs fine tuned for smooth yet responsive flying.
– SPRacing F3 flight control board. If you don’t like the above, fine tune it further to your heart’s content (including flashing with Betaflight).
– Thick 4mm carbon fiber arms. You’re going to have a hard time breaking these arms in a crash (although I’m also sure that there’s a concrete wall or pillar somewhere out there waiting to prove me wrong :). And if you do, each arm is bolted on and can be individually and easily replaced
– 20A ESCs supporting Oneshot 125/42
– 2500 KV motor
– Easily adjusted up (0 to 50 degrees) 600 TVL FPV camera with 600 mW transmitter. FPV transmitter is 40 channels 25/600mW switchable. And here are the instructions for the FPV transmitter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGXQkvhZnRE
– CG nicely set. Rolls and flips are effortless.
– Beeper and on screen display (OSD)
– Comes with 4S 1300mah battery, with plenty of space for larger batteries.
– RTF version comes with Devo 7 transmitter.
– Although I didn’t use it, it also comes with a camera mount for GoPro style action cameras.
– All versions include UB-001 simulator cable dongle and a serial number for activating the “MR Drone” simulator program.
Cons
– t’aint cheap. You get what you pay for.
– The LED’s on the arms have to be installed by the user. It’s easy to do, but at this price, I feel they should have been installed at the factory.
– Propeller tightening threads on the motor shaft are all clockwise direction tightening. There is a possibility of clockwise turning propellers loosening the nut and coming off if the nut is not properly tightened.
– Not sure if the simulator dongle will also work with FPV Freerider. At least I couldn’t get it to work with Freerider on my computer. Sorry that I didn’t try it with MR Drone, as I’m a devout Freerider fan 😉

Great job looks like a beast, have you flown anything much faster? Just wondering do the motors spin when armed? Thanks have a great weekend.
looks like the flats or AZ maybe ?
no first?
Cool
Try punching the throttle to see if this new 215 has the same problem as my F210 3D which goes into low voltage warning way too early
While it does fly well enough with Cleanflight, I have to believe that it would fly better with Betaflight on there, as most models with FCs do. I think they have the low battery warning set too high. Absolute min. voltage on a lipo cell is 2.9v per cell. Allowing for a safety factor of 3.2v per cell, you could fly until 12.8v is indicated .. or even 13v if you wanted to be extra safe. Some OSD’s show number of “mah” consumed, and some believe that you should never consume more than 80% of the battery’s max indicated Mah rating. So, for a 1300 mah pack, you’d only want to use up (consume) about 1040 mah. I generally go by voltage. Since my Taranis is capable of giving voice announcements, I have it announce “low battery’ at 3.4-3.5 v per cell. I have it announce ‘battery critical’ at 3.2v. I also have a flight timer set up on the Taranis, so that every minute which goes by, it is announced: “one minute” .. “two minutes” .. and so on, so that I always know how long I’ve been in the air (without having to look at the OSD .. because most of my racers do not have OSD). It’s definitely not a “cheap” model, but if you don’t want to build your own, this could be a route for you, but I think there are several less expensive options out there for those less inclined to gather up parts and put a model together themselves. When you were saying that there were lots of flowers out there, I kept looking for them, but I couldn’t see any. I guess desert flowers don’t look like the bright daffodils and crocus flowers which pop up early in Spring around here (none of them are up yet where I live). Thanks for the review … cheers.
Bout time you make a “How To Video” on how to fly these little monsters! I am interested in the stick movement to do the rolls & flips Etc.
This will be helpful to us Old Guys! Thanks for all you do for us, Great Work as always.

awwwwsome vid bud I realy like this quad
Another fantastic video thank you so much. Love your videos!!
How is it compared to the f210?
I hope this trend of good RtF/BnF continues after I get enough money to have one.
man that’s a awesome quad how much is the combo remote plus quad? nice flying too
How is this compared to the Eachine Wizard X220?
101 how would you compare this to the 210 better? if so thinking of buying one, the bnf version. are these on the market yet?
woah way to much $$
Hi do you know if fail safe works with this quad, do you have to turn it on? Or don’t you see a need for it ?
Are 2250R 2300kv motors faster than 2204 2300kv motors? Help!
Thanks Ethan
Why is the f210 more expensive if the furious 215 is faster and more agile. What does the f210 have to offer fight characteristic wise that the 215 doesn’t.
Thanks
What goggles are you using?
how is this compared to the 320?
Hi, whats the maximum speed of the furious 215?
For those who’re puzzled by the Video Transmitter configuration:
Official Walkera documentation states that you can click the button on the side of the VTx to change bands. This is a full 40 channel VTx.
You can also change transmission power by holding that key for 30 (!) seconds. The lights that just told you what your band is now tell you power output. As I recall, the Blue light means 25mW, green is 200mW, and red is 600mW. (US MODEL – CE model may vary!)
I love the onboard OSD!
I need help brothers!!
Is someone here familiar with the walkera furious 215 quad??
whats the top speed?
40 channel. Not 8. Does anyone actually read anymore before they mislead people lol
nice review. what is airmode?
Like Mr. Strong, I also live close by in the Tehachapi area. I’ve been saving up for a racing quad for a couple months but still have a long way to go for a Walkera. I was curious if I could try it out before purchasing one (not sure if this is something that people do) or if you know of a shop in our area that sells racing quads? With the angle mode, acro and air modes this one sounds like it has everything to progress from flying toy grade and GPS video quads to acrobatic/3d flying.

Thanks Ethan

Walkera products look nice but seems to be quite a bit more expensive. Have a Rodeo 150, liked the look even though it is fully plastic. Now that you are getting good with acro, maybe you can consider redoing one or two popular racers that you review earlier but haven’t flew in that mode?
not bad
flies nice …..not a lot of range eh
QUADCOPTER 101 PLS READ??✌️. I know this is a long shot but my drone (cheap drone Syma X5SW) just fell 3 and a half months ago and when it fell the motor is not working anymore?Pls do a drone give away?Plss!! I thoroughly enjoy your reviews. They are awesome. I work in Ridgecrest and I always look for you and your vehicle. Half the time I feel like I’m looking for a celebrity, but I’m not interested in me to celebrities.
You’ve done such a great job reviewing quadcopters that I’ve gotten 3 that you reviewed. Now I’m looking at this one that you’re reviewing right now and I’m thinking maybe I should get that.
Hi
Fifth?
