This video shows you, how to remove the huge „dead zone“ around the center position of the steering of this 1:28 4WD Wltoys K989 Ford Fiesta rally car.
I discovered this issue, after I realized, that my “Micro RC” system offers a much better steering accuracy…
How can we fix this problem? Well, we have to replace the entire electronics, except of the steering servo and the motor!
In order to have access to the motor wires, I have to disassemble the entire drivetrain. The differentials are also disassembled, cleaned, and greased with silicone grease.
Of course I’m using my 2.4GHz Arduino „Micro RC“ remote control system. The ESC is a 10 brushed type from Banggood.

And yes: Idiot drivers always have a lot to repair. At least, if they do a race with worn tires and finally produce a huge crash!

hi can you provide a tutorial how to make the transmitter and receiver(step by step using common pro micros) and is it the potentiometer with the deadzone or is it the circuit adding the deadzone
Well done!
