This 5-inch 6S drone is so light you don’t even have to register it with the FAA, but is it worth it for you? I’ve packed a ton of info into this video so hopefully it can help answer that question. Click “SHOW MORE” for links and build suggestions:

Im all about weight in my builds now, good to see manufacturers following, i still enjoy my gt200 ldarc 5″ because of weight
The only quad I fly is the Babytooth (video on my channel…). FPV gold right there. I wonder why people even bother to get anything else! So light, so quiet, and so much power. It’s great to see betafpv being one of the leading ‘ultralight’ companies out there. FYI nate im in the seattle area so if you want to rip sometime just let me know.
I am in both camps, but I’ll be honest: I am very skeptical of the durability of both the frame and electronics of sub 250 5inch. I am building up another 4inch as in my opinion its still the most power, speed and durability you can get under 250g. I just think its too much of a compromise with the whoop boards and the narrow shafts on those ultralight 5inch motors. 1606 on an xnight 4 with 850 4s i think is plenty
Both I like to know what others are flying . I have 14 dji vista/air units all different builds
Nate, you are an amazing pilot. You can make anything look fantastic! Great review. Thank you Sir. FYI, I am a micro flyer. Love whoops!
Great vid man. I think I am going to stick to my micros. Did you already finish your new babytooth build?
Ive had mine since its initial release and i Do Not recommend it. Just like him i lost screws and antenna kept failing off and the arm cracked on 1st crash on grass ?. Uses t-mount props and only 2 are available either 2 or 3 blade and both are very flimsy-weak so no props selection what so ever. Its overpriced at $250 and feels low quality, not fast. Get the older LDARC 200gt or there 220gt which is better overall. Betafpv failed
Comprehensive review, cool kwad.
Just wondering if the bigger battery helps it feel more like a heavier freestyle quad?
