─── Pros: ───
✔️CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. ~$150 for a 180mm model with a receiver.
✔️ 3K full carbon fiber frame with 4mm thick chassis. Has held up very well in crashes. It is a good solid frame that will not let you down.
✔️ Motors have decent punch, they aren’t branded but appear to be black versions of the racerstar motors on the Realacc GX210.
✔️ 3D printed green part is well made and shouldn’t easily break with the current design.
✔️FrSky 16CH RX with Telemetry/RSSI! Easy bind with the external bind button.
✔️ Pogoda-II antenna which is my new favorite, happy to see more of these coming into the BNF/RTF market.
─── Cons: ───
❌ Furibee P180 comes flashed with CleanFlight 1.1.x, from 2015 which is simply not enjoyable to fly with despite the factory tune. Therefore; you will need to update the software; reconfigure it; and tune it yourself to get it to fly nicely. I have not done any tuning and am flying with stock betaflight PIDs. They are “just okay.”
❌ The FrSKY RX is fully stuffed inside the quad including its antenna, greatly hurting the reception. I rerouted the antennas to correct this problem.
❌ The OSD is a mess! Incorrect battery information that keeps ticking up, constant flashing. It eventually disappears during flight for unknown reasons. This could be because of grounding faults or software problems. (?) It flat out does NOT work!
❌ The video transmission / vtx is full of lines, regardless of motor state, even when totally stopped which indicates unclean power somewhere. CMOS foxeer camera definitely has a little jello, too, but nothing too detrimental.
❌ XT60 connector has no wire/lead, potential liability and problematic for certain batteries. I can’t level my quad on a flat surface to take off because of this.
❌ FTDI cable for OSD and FC configuration is mildly annoying. Wish they had gone with USB or something else.

Overall, while the Furibee P180 is still fun to fly once you have everything setup on betaflight… I cannot recommend it due to all of its shortcomings. If you aren’t the type of person willing to put in the work/tinker with it, you will get pissed off. The Furibee Fuuton 200 is a far better out of box experience, and is not *that* much more expensive.

Great job John! Thanks the the fair and unbiased review! Seems they may have contracted another company to make the 180. The Fuuton is great. Can’t imagine the same manufacturer would have made this.
