I´m flying since september and I cant understand how you can fly this slow while looking forward with an camangle of 25°. Does this just look that slow because of the superview or do I do something wrong. I´m flying at 17 and its littlebit too fast for me. Do you have some tipps
I burned out a $50 ESC yesterday by plugging in an XT-60 battery pack into my quad… backwards. !@#$% Yeah…..
You’re not suppose to be able to do that, but guess what, you can.
Male negative will slot into Female positive, and it’s only an 80 amp spark gap jump to connect to the other side.
The deadly XT-60.. a Cobra strike ready to bite you and a ticking time bombs in all our models. You’ve been warned, I never was, but really, it’s no kind of protection.
This hobby is so whack. I’ve never said “Are you sh1tting me???!” and “Are you fvcking serious???!” since well… since I was programming around the flaws in DICE game code.
I’m down with Le Drib, I like the smooth ride improvised cruise… like riding in a big comfy cadilac where the front and back seat is one long… couch.
So many beginners fly with default rates and PIDs too high, and the flight looks stilted, robotic, precise, jerky; like you’re watching a HP graphing plotter or CNC machine at work.
I like to slide around the sky like a figure skater on ice… if it doesn’t look like you’re riding on greased rails then you probably haven’t bothered yet to experiment and find your perfect rates in a sim yet. It took me a month of going up and down with values until I found something I was reasonably happy with, and then if I go faster or slower from there, it’s only by 0.1 or so on this or that value.

2020 sucked balls and my fleet has mostly looked like yours did before the repairs for the past 8 months now. Hopefully this year in the USA is better but its off to a bad start already…….
