Maximum pilot entries are 40 pax so priority will be given to those who have paid first. Once the entries are full and you have not paid you will automatically be put on the waiting list. (If you have paid after the entries are full and no places are available for you, your payment will be fully refunded)

*If you have already registered but unsure whether or not you you will be racing in this event, kindly resign from the race so that you may give place to others who are serious and wish to participate.

Aircraft – Mini Multirotor Class

SPECIFICATION:
Frame: Max 305mm
Prop: Max 6″ (152mm)

Video Transmitter: Max 200mW

* While not mandated, it is highly encouraged that pilots install high intensity LED’s at a minimum on the rear of their aircraft for an elevated pilot racing experiences and on the sides and front of their aircraft for both an elevated spectator experience and safety.

Timing System

TBS Event Tracker will be used for this race
It is your responsibility to ensure that your vtx signal is clean and is registering properly and you are able to test it before any official race.
VTX Transmitter

All competitors must use a max 200mw video transmitter system, with Race Band channels. Competitors to ensure that their vtx’s are mounted on with easy access to the frequency changing switch.
FPV Camera and Others

All competitors are advised to use an FPV camera or OSD system that has function to display the pilots name on the screen. This will allow spotters and viewers to easily identify each pilot and competitors aircraft.
Only PAL system camera allowed.
Organisers will be locking down 4 channels on the ground station receivers for the entire event so any frequency changes will only be done on competitors VTX’s between the race heats. Competitors to ensure that their vtx’s are mounted on with easy access to the frequency changing switches.

Semi Finals (Top 16 Elimination)

Heats

Groups of 4 pilots have 2min to complete as many lap as possible.
Must pass through all gates & obstacles.
Lap must be logged by timing system.
16 Pilots with most laps enter semi finals.
Fastest lap will be used as a tie-breaker in the case of same number of laps.

Semi Finals

Groups of 4 pilots to compete.

Finals

4 pilots to compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position. 5 Laps.
