Great review, I like your attitude facing what you have missed, trying to be as accurate as possible. I would say just use only this version who want to use this prop. Maybe it is better now with v2 but others are very fragile and just okay props like 5x4x3.

Hi – where can I buy this? I want to try it for my RealAcc X210
emiel1976ep
Is that one also available as tri blade?

nice review,,,,, I’ve never used twin blade props on anything other than a 3″ with 1105 motors,
in your opinion would rcinpower GTS 2305 2450kv motors work well with 6″ twin bladed props on a fairly light build, trying to do something different, the motors were originally for a 5″ build that didn’t go to plan.
thaks….

Polycarbonate is not a mixture of things . Polycarbonate is one specific kind of plastic (the kind they make bulletproof glass out of) . PPA is Polyphtalamide and is basically a high performance nylon (polyamide PA). So this prop material is basically an evolution of Glass filled nylon (like the old HQ 5x4x3) which is kinda heavy and fragile

Kabab, maybe should you inform yourself correctly before publishing videos. How many times did you tell “I said that last time and I was wrong” or kind of ?

Cool review I’m going to try them out. I like the style and design of them. Do you know that your Floss is wining a ton of races in North America I’m pretty sure it’s number one followed by the predator racing rsx226. That’s awesome no wonder why it’s hard to get.

How does it compare to 5050 twinblade?

How are you measuring “battery hog”? Just amp draw on punchouts or flight time?
Mile High Multicopters
Is it just me or is that a CCW prop on a CW corner of the quad?

Hey Bob, thanks for the spike in sales. LOL Had to quickly order more – only 3 of the 20 packs of these left!
If you’re looking for them in the US, daedalusco.com/shop ships from Michigan. 😉

I love what you do! Can you give me some clues? I like your 5″ floss frame, and plan on picking it up when it’s in stock. What motors and escs would you recommend? (please error towards the extreme) I know you recommend that frame for “pros”, I’m not a pro, i enjoy building almost as much as flying and I like the concept of something that is wild on 4s because of the weight (I plan on getting some 1000 mah batteries). Even if I can’t get the most out of it, I’ll enjoy looking at it on my coffee table. Motor budget will be $100
tops. Thanks for what you do!
ETA: get some more subscribers! you are actually doing stuff for the hobby, creating hardware! keep it up! thanks

This prop and the Butter Cutter have the forward swept leading edge in common. I’m thinking that this balances out the forces on the prop under load that would normally flatten the pitch of the blade. The forward “hump” of the blade would actually increase in pitch if flexed under load. I’m wondering if this is why the Butter Cutter and this prop feel unusually “grippy”. I want high speed camera footage. have your “prop people” get on this. Thanks. 😉
