Behind the scenes at a UK Drone Show promo video shoot – FPV racing
http://www.ukdroneshow.com I was kindly invited to go to the National Exhibition Centre to watch behind the scenes during day 2 of a 3 day shoot of promo videos and press for the UK Drone Show in December 2015. The FPV racers were in town today, and some rather cool RC camera gear too! I’ll be attending on both days in December, so get a ticket and it’ll be great to meet you.

My “On the Kitchen Table” videos are mainly aimed at newcomers to multirotors, quadcopters, drones and UAVs, particularly to the DJI product range, and the Phantom line in particular. I have how to’s, product reviews, tips, tricks, hints and information for beginners and those in the early stages of the hobby. I film “on the kitchen table” to show people that, like me, you don’t need a workshop and an array of specialist equipment and years of experience to get started and progress with flying these amazing aircraft and enjoying making great aerial videos and stills. So if you have bought, or are thinking of buying, a DJI Phantom 3, Phantom 2, Phantom 2 Vision or Vision+ or Plus, Inspire 1 or even building your own DJI Flamewheel F450 or F550, or considering the Lily, 3DR Solo, Yuneec or more then you too can do it… on the kitchen table!

Looks like it will be exciting!
+David Williams Crowd should be able to get very close with the course
being completely netted. I believe they are planning something more
interesting than just an oval… And also planning on using the same area
for lots of other demonstrations, etc.
I was more concerned about the inspire 1 getting knocked out by one of
those fpv racers, then the price going up in august ;)
+stuvlogs I didn’t catch on camera the moment the Inspire 1 ended up upside
down on the floor. One quick prop change later and it was back in action. 😉
Exciting times :)
Ha ha, he looked a bit shocked when you said “one day we hope to have you
on the kitchen table” ooo-err missus!!
+Gordon Jackson Might be sooner than he thinks – I hope to be bringing the
table (well, some of it at least) to the NEC in December! 😉
Been to the NEC many times and the UK Drone Show will be a sell out for
those 2 days! great interview Simon and thanks for keeping us up-todate
with the event :-)
