Ahead of the Styrian GP at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Alex Marquez raced his factory Repsol Honda MotoGP race bike against an FPV racing drone to create a very unique track preview!

The helicopter pilot breathes a sigh of relief at the end after finding out he still has a job
0:32 nifty
Capitan lento
The target thing was annoying and overdone. Just give us some raw footage
Arguably the worst Red Bull rider on a bike…the Marquez brothers are a PR liability, so accept it and move on.
Besides, Monster have signed the best riders on the grid – The End.
The over-editing makes everything look like CGI.
This drone pilot sucks!!!
I like Alex. I hope he does well on the LCR Honda and shows his true colours.
If the drone knew the line I think it would be all over for the moto
Bad editing and missleading title
How awesome will it be when multiple mini drones programmed with AI to autonomously follow and film the riders from every angle.
Did this 3 years ago. That drone is grossly underpowered but I have one that can outrun the bike. Problem is gps cant keep up with the flight path chasing due to delay in data, and manual controls are far too difficult at that speed.
Please remove all the annoying overlays from the FPV shots, its so hard to actually appreciate the perspective with all the white framing.
This is just a publicity stunt, not actual race. An FPV drone cannot reach 320 km/h
Skynet: Imagine you had guns attached to that thing…it can already track so well
If only Alex was going at a true pace, and not cruising for the video. Based on his body language (not hanging off the bike at all), and degree of lean in turns 1, 4, 5 and 9… he clearly had more in the tank.
Not a bad idea in my opinion.
Thank god the GP bike beat the toy
Redbull why do you always have to do these cinematic shots where he is barley riding the bike like he should be. If you’re gonna make an experimental video please avoid the cinematics and give us raw footage.
skynet iz alive ?
Alex on 1st gear all the time.
