Can the Five33 Tiny Trainer make you a better FPV racing pilot? Evan Turner says yes. Let’s take the Tiny Trainer to the Knoxville MultiGP Qualifier and see how it does.

Cool drone and all but this is just an ad hard to take it seriously.
I personally think spec racing is a fantastic idea. Everyone on the same level (minus tuning)! Who flys better that day??!’ Very cool concept and I’ll be looking into this now.
I love spec racing, I gave up on MGP racing because there was no spec or classes they raced 3s against 6s, 3in against 5 in, beginners against pros and it was not FUN. To bring a spec class racing league nation wide would totally interest me. Spec class offers a much more exciting racing engagement for an audience as well, its not fun watching a race where pilots are so spread out you cant tell who is in the lead. If anyone desires to become a pro racer to earn money, you must realize where that money is generated from, not your sponser, its finding a way to get a paying audience engaged. Spec class racing is the way to do that.
That kid flew through that course at ridiculous speeds…how is that even possible?
I’m looking to find a quieter quad than my 5 inch. This just might be the ticket, but…
The Five33 rep’s laps notwithstanding, what kind of battery times can I expect from this quad compared to a 5 inch quad?
Who else loving that Cricket shirt????
I dig that ? shirt and the quad looks like a real basher
What was evans time?
nice upload JB, Fun in the sun 😉 love the Ferris Bueller skit 🙂
I really have to disagree with you on the use case for the TT, I have been flying mine in my tiny suburban back yard and having a blast with it and I’ve also taken it out to my 5 inch flying spots and it really feels lacking for power. However in a confined space it has just enough power to be right on the ragged edge of out of control which makes it an absolute blast.
Can’t wait to see this frame on Banggood. I really want to build one of these 3 inch quads.
When I see someone fly that awesome ot makes me never wanna race again. I’m waaaaayyyyyyy too far behind.
Hey I got a shout-out! Nice!
160g dry for that thing? Nah. I’ll stick to the trainers I build instead. And if I go digital, I’d get @Sub250g FPV to show me his weight savings tricks rather than buy this slug
Does a DJI Vista fit in the tiny Trainer?
Hmmm, does the world need a Tiny Trainer Project Mockingbird tune on Emuflight?
i’m still confused about the missing tail fin on yours..
These are no reason you use 5 inch. 5 inch are good only if you think you wanna carry on Gopro. Since Betaflight 4.1 released 3 inch are awesome!
Armando from 533 doesn’t use the tail fin. Evan says it’s because he never crashes.
Yes!
It can be done but I think they are using a carbon top plate not the canopy.
160g all up not dry.
12 to 13 seconds. He was doing 11s with his 5″.
@Joshua Bardwell I see, you are planning ahead! 😉
@Joshua Bardwell wow. That’s amazingly fast.
That guy flying it after you…? WTF
And he was talking while going flat out.. like I hate him ?
Takes balls to post your laps for all the critics
my budget is too small
6-7 minutes at least with 550 mAh 3S
@Joshua Bardwell yeah, I had replied to your other comment saying I made the mistake haha OPE
Hey josh, i have a really quick question for you, you would help me a lot. I have a stock cidora E, and i find it perfect when i dont carry a gopro, but weak when i carry it (motors became hot and it doesnt sound good). What sould i do, pick higher pitched props or higher kv motors? Please tell the solution for having a filming quad, i dont care to have it fast and snappy
Hi just if anyone can help can you take
A xm+ of one drone and Connect it to another?
I think they should outfit the 5″ 533 with the same canopy, or probably a little better one that attaches to the frame to make it more durable. I would build one.
Just became a patreon subscriber! Your content has helped so much it’s the least I could do!!
Thank you!
I’m not sure what to say about that. I carry a Hero 7 on my SL5-E and it’s fantastic. If you don’t care about fast and snappy, I guess go to higher pitch props.
I liked the Tiny Trainer but as I live in Australia, it costs more than a lot of 5 inch frames to get delivered to here. I wish we could get it here a cheaper price.
Evan Turner…look him up
Joshua Bardwell hey can you do a video on how it freestyle bc I wonder since it fly more like a five inch how it would do
HAA ! your Fridge smells funny!!
i love love love seeing this bc ive focused on practicing on DRL with fat quads. great video JB
The tiny trainer has a full fairing…or cowling. Makes it look more complete. People like that.
i beg to disagree 3″ identical to 5″
Love my TT. Drop an insta360 on it and its dope af for video. Added a 200mw vtx and now I’m diving buildings downtown. I find it to be less snappy overall but its the most convenient quad i have ever flown into myself. This is definitely a big city quad but beware of hawks: they will take it hostage. Also this thing is not good in trees (throwline is a requirement for a successful rescue). I’d just drop the falco on the FC and ur golden.
Damn Evan can fly!
Still got the creeps in the fridge lol.
I’m sold. I just wish INDYGP would step up its game and wake up from their slumber
Help: tx16s or tango 2? or neither?
Now I really want one!
Need a TinyTrainer?
We have a China Warehouse we can ship out of. Message Evan or I via FB and we can get you cheaper shipping
