      Why not just do an under 250g class in place of the overpriced spec components? This would at least drive innovation for light weight quads which would be legal for those living in places that require under 250g models.

      Do a size limit, minimum and maximum weight, and then do longer races. Tech inspection would be easy. Must fit in a box and be thrown on a scale.
