Thanks to an OCEARCH fan flying a drone near Risser’s Beach, Nova Scotia, we were able to catch a glimpse of one of our tagged white sharks! It’s the first confirmed sighting of one of our tagged sharks post release. Alex, the drone pilot, shared the footage and after a close look our team noticed a SPOT Tag. The Tracker confirmed the sighting to be Hal or Ironbound, who both pinged in the bay that same day. Watch the incredible footage.

Still slaughtering the local dialogue, but that’s OK because your welcome here. It’s “Rissers” not “Rise-ers”
Good work dear ? I Happy want do this one
Very nice scenery you captured here ? I recently took shots on some huge windmills in Germany in autumn. Would be great, if someone could check it out and give me some feedback. Greetings from Germany.✌️
Awesome footage. It must be very exciting and rewarding to see one of the majestic White Sharks doing what it is supposed to be doing and finding it where it is predicted to be. It is tough work, but so rewarding and necessary for the health of Sharks and our Oceans… I will be contributing to next expedition, I can not be there but I and many other can feel we are helping out in some way . ~Sean , EIRE …
Thank you for doing what you do
Great capture, enjoyed the view !!!!!
Incredible! Planning to sponsor the tagging of a white shark in honour of my 50th coming up this month 🙂
I check on these 2 sharks every day ❤? Just love the “Canadian Sharks”
