Adding a Jones Exhaust MF2469 muffler in an attempt to minimize drone and “rasp” from my Speed Engineering dual kit. Eliminated 100% of the rasp, but seems to have just moved the drone to another rpm range. Boost pressure remained the same, so we can assume not restriction was added.

Time for J pipes,or better just replace old mufflers with some bigger bodys.Still happy with cam choice? Gather new cam and delete when forged goes in.

I’m literally about to go through a similar process with my ‘new to me’ 2015 Sierra RCSB. Going through your whole series I think I’m going to fit Speed Engineering LT Headers and there True Duel Exhaust. Engine wise, after viewing your cam install videos, I think I’m going to go 210/230 – .572/.572 and just run LT1 valve springs. I assume you used the Phaser Limiter Kit (Part #5456) to limit it to 22`deg? Instead of a whipple I’ve got a LT4 blower and the conversion parts. I figure I may as well keep the AFM/DOD stuff too keep the install easier and worry about the delete and everything else if the 5.3 blows and I drop a 6.2 in instead. Looking forward to getting it all done based on the results you’ve had.
