Dozens of fireworks accidentally explode on the ground while I was filming with my FPV drone. Audio was recorded on the ground.
When the fireworks started going off on the ground I had my FPV goggles on. Although my drones do have GPS I have not programmed a return home feature. I took my goggles off, flipped the drone into “angle” mode, and then went full throttle straight up as I ran away from the fireworks.
After being a safe distance away from everything that had just happened, I regained sight of the drone thanks to the anti-collision lights I installed and safely flew it back.
This was filmed within 30 minutes after sunset and the drone that filmed this does have anti-collision lighting.
