Fly Faster: Flight Path Vectors for an FPV Drone Racing HUD
I have been working on display software for my Parrot Bebop to help me fly better and fly faster. It is inspired by actual Jet and Helicopter head up and head wearable displays. One aspect of this type of display in particular, the flight path vector, has caught my interest.
Watch to find out why.

Great work. I have just started looking into modeling a drones flight
characteristics. Not for control and guidance, as you have done, but for
the design of the drone itself. A system approach to drone design rather
than, the traditional, component level design. It is great to see how these
models could also be used for flight control and guidance. I really love
your ideas.
sorry to say, for real racing way to much info going on the screen. it will
just destract. (Like a big rev meter in a race car is more important than
the speedo meter) just Voltage and maby a arrow for the track buth nothing
more for me. for more auto pilot style and filming i can see the benefits,
not for racing.
This looks like a more active comments, I have the Gear VR and a Bebop2 no
skycontroller But I use a Steel series Xbox controller i’d like to use your
HUD app with my Samsung Galaxy note5, Where can i get it or where can I
find information to configure my bebop2 with your HUD?
