Celebrating new year with the return of my old FPV Ultralight. Those nasty monsoon rain have passes leaving trails of cold clouds this week so took mu change to do some simply loitering around in the skies. No problem on my favorite altitude but landing can be a problem because some cold fog stuck around close to the ground. Visibility almost zero but hey i get used to it a lot over the years in this tropical region. So let check out how i handle those zero visibility landing, and btw happy New Year 2018. FYI this year the FPV Drifter is 5 years old since its FPV birth, this also include other of its siblings in the hangar…pretty good plane for surviving active FPV flight at this age.

Well that was fun and interesting.
Awesome david!
nice flight and a cool cockpit is this a bi -plane?
Do you have clearance to fly that high, what if a full scale plane comes in contact with you , do you have lights , very dangerous and its this type of fpv that creates problems for the hobby
A nice flight and landing, thumbs up!
Cheers, Bob
