You are doing well there, no mere mortal picks up FPV without needing to practice 馃槈
Also playing with a controller is hard mode. Much more control with a actual transmitter. But even with a controller it will teach you the basic coordination. Keep at it 馃榾
My only recommendation would be to turn off self level mode as soon as possible. Don’t get too used to it.
As to simulators I have used Liftoff. But it needs a fast computer to feel good and costs money…. is quite good too and free. (I believe both are available on Mac.)
I learnt on fpv freerider, honestly pal you was flying awesome and flying like that I’d let you have a go on my quads

I wondered about the self levelling. Was not sure how a real FPV quad works so left the settings

@Drone UK You can have level mode on a real quad. However, if you are looking to do cinematic FPV you will want to fly arco/air/rate (all the same thing) Level is usually only used for the whoops you saw when you visited, it allows you to bump into things and then carry on. However I would consider it good practise to use level as little as possible as it is not a very useful thing to learn. The difference is simply that once you let go of the roll/pitch stick the quad will not return to upright. It will simply stay upside down if you happen to centre the stick whilst you are upside down. Initially more difficult, but much smoother and it offers much more freedom.

I have a flysky transmitter you can have, it’s not the best but it would work great on fpv freerider and it would give you a much closer feeling than a PS4 pad, let me know if you want it pal, you would need to buy a cable to connect it to your PC but they are cheap
oh cool that would be ace to try out man, cheers. Have to let me know what USB cable i would need. I could make this a mini series haha. Next one will be to buy this and try it with the auto level off. Im sure i will find it harder but be cool to try and record it

@Drone UK I should have the cable at home but I’m sure I was looking for someone else ages ago but I’ll have another look tonight and if I can find it I’ll message you with what cable you need
I learnt on this as well bro, Joshua Bardwell has some great videos on how to fly using this simulator, I would recommend Velocidrone over this sim though, that’s just personal choice. The physics are much better and its a community as well. But this sim is a great place to start for anyone, well worth the 拢5 to buy the full version! 馃榾
