one which brand should i buy and what spects should i look for and about
the size which size should i use i’m a newbie
Of you are completely brand new to quads, I strongly recommend the hubsan
x4. You definitely want to start flying cheap while you learn. Parts for
the quad are very easy to repair and cheap. It can take a beating as well.
It will cost $40 US and then a prop guard is around $3. Repair packs are
around $15. Just search it on Amazon! Cheers!

that’s what i read
+james brewer From what I understand an Amateur Radio licence in the UK
does not apply to any transmitter which is airborne… so I think even a
full UK “HAM” licence has no relevance to FPV VTXs on planes and multis’.
Does apply to using UHF radio control though as that bit is on the ground.

Im going to be buying my first drone within 1 to 2 weeks, the goggles that
you all are using is that made for 1 brand of quad or can quad set up to
use them. Also what are the goggles?
+Jovan Hardy you buy the frame of the quad, then pick whatever transmitter,
etc you want. The goggles normally have a built in reciever, and the
frequency must match the transmitter.

I want to start drone racing. I have had a bit of experience with drones. So for racing which drones should I get? Should I get FPV goggles? if so which FPV goggles should I get?

+Sam Johnson not necessarily professionals but they are built for people who have experience with building things. The phantom is designed to be easy, race quads are designed around tinkerer’s.

+Crozzeyedninja Depends on whether you want the full FPV experience. 400-500 for a RFT drone with transmitter, but 400-600 more for a Fatshark Dominator HD on the high end or a Walkera Goggle 2 for the low end.
A complete set would cost around 1k but you can find these cheaper(aliexpres)

expect roughly 600-1000 USD for full gear, drone/fpv goggles/batteries etc for something decent.

This is a cool video. But it would be much better if you would let people hear the motors of the quads!! It would make everything much more interactive feeling for the viewer. Especially, in a Car park. The natural sounds in the Car park would have made for a much more exciting video. Look at it this way: when you go to a NASCAR event and see those race cars on the track, what do you want to hear, music? Dude, just a suggestion
