Hi Gal Great quads , WOW I can’t wait to get one , I like the 4s I can’t see going to 6s even on a 3in maybe a 4in definitely a 5s 6in. Thanks Again for the information on those quads, Great Flights from the Arrow.
I like everything about that quad, except for the lack of camera protection. Great review!
Awesome flying and review, Gal! ?
Those are great little quads!!! ?
This looks like it is a great flyer!
Prolly mad but a ducted 6s would be significant boost. (?)
Thanks for this review, i waited this to decide which one i should buy between this one or the Diatone.
Thank you for the comparison!
What about weight? If you want to keep below 250gr how heavy can the battery be?
What is the weight of the Arrow Gal ? I get 6-7 minutes flight time with my sub 250g 3″ 6S HD Setup, the heavier you go the more power the quadcopter needs, and thus less flight time. One thing I really do like about the HGLRC arrow is the motors, both the 4s 1408 3600kv and the 6s 1408 2400kv are butter smooth, powerful, efficient and very durable. Don’t hit any branches with your immortal T in that top mounted position, as it won’t stay immortal for long, from my own experience.
Hglrc sent me the 6s version with a broke flight controller
this is what i currently want for teaching my group cause my loyal wizard220 is getting a little dated now .great review gal.as allways brother
Nice review. The Diatone 3 inch appears to be considerably faster on 4S even vs the improvised 6S on Arrow 3 as well
Forget sub 250g with the Arrow, it’s built like a tank, with high quality components just very heavy. I use a GNB 6s 550mAh battery (108g) for my sub 250g 6s racing setup (6-7 minutes hard flying) and a 6s 450mAh battery (80g) for my sub 250g 6s long range HD with GPS setup (6-7 minutes flying time)
Few questions,
What is the best bnf freestyle drone that can be bound to a dx6,
And can you bind an hglrc mefisto to a dx6
Thx
Thank you. Yes – I agree – the camera needs to be better protected.
Yes it is 🙂
Maybe, but it will add a lot of weight.
And what will you choose?
Quadditch FPV is totally right. I just finished speed testing both versions – the weight including the batteries will be included in the video.
Thanks for the heads up regarding the antennas – I might need to reposition them. I just finished speed testing both versions – the weight including the batteries will be included in the video.
I am sure they will take care of you.
Thanks. Wait for the speed test – you might be surprised 😉
@Gal Kremer unfortunately after nermerious emails with no help they finally asked me to send it into cyclonefpv.com in Texas which is the only U.S authorized repair dealer so I had to pay 15 dollars to ship a brand new drone out of box o received broke HGLRC QC suprised me this time totally unacceptable
Just get a PNP quadcopter and buy a receiver separately.
@Brandon Watts That’s unfortunate…
Gal Kremer would you recommend me get a different receiver like a taranis or just deal with swapping receivers
@Gal Kremer honestly it’s hard choice for me, I have tested the GT-R249 with some issues with the VTX. So my plan was to buy the GT-R 349 wtith Tbs VTx. But i have change my mind and i will take the arrow3.
@Gal Kremer that why i want the feedback of someone have try both of them
@Kam Gaming I am sure you will enjoy it 🙂
Yes, if you’re here to stay, I suggest getting a different radio transmitter.
@Gal Kremer Immortal T antenna placement on a 3″ is tricky, if you put it on the top it could be bent into props if you hit anything, you could (as I do) place it at a 90 degrees angle from one of the back arms, but in a hard crash you can get a twisting action on the arm, which is not good, but at least it won’t go into your props.
I’ve just uploaded a video today showing a 1.28 Mile / 2 Kilometre flight with my sub 250g 3″ HD GPS Quad using an immortal T antenna attached to one of the back arms.
your videos are always some of the best I have seen.. thank you for sharing with us.. I just got the Hyperlight Tooth fairy 5″ and now looking as I just ordered the iflight stack V2 500mw and was thinking of a 3″ frame for it..and this Arrow 3 seems to be at the top of the list.. thanks again for sharing….
Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Happy flying!
Thanks for this review!
Hey! Thanks for the review! I would like to buy Arrow 3 but I am wondering if the 6S or the 4S version. Can it fly with 1500mah 4S battery and how do the 2600KV motors behave with 4s batteries? Thanks again man nice work!
Thanks Filip. 1500mah will be way to heavy for both versions. If you would like to get a long flight time – go for the 6s version and 850mah 4s batteries.
I have the 6s version also hglrc is wack for not supplying a controller I have the flysky version what remote controller do I get cuz at the moment its just a decorative item on my desk…. plss help guys
What is your budget for a remote controller?
Hey Gal as always i really enjoy watching your videos and i’ve purchased 2 quads from watching your vids.I just purchased the Arrow3 4s and i’d like to know if you recommend using the 850mah 4s pack since i’m a newbie?I look forward to your opinion!
Hey Harry, thanks a lot! Yes, an 850mah 4s battery is a prefect match to this quadcopter.
Why does the 6s get more flight time in the same battery? The motors?
Less battery sag.
Mefisto or batman 220 cant decide plz help ??
How did you get rssi on mines says 0 ???
Which RX and TX are you using?
Batman 220 or Wind 5.
@Gal Kremer But would it work? I have about 10 4s 1500 mah, would love to know as that way I wouldn’t have to go out and buy more batteries. Thanks!
@armani007E55 Yes they will work. Will it fly well? No 🙂
@Gal Kremer perfect and once my 4s batteries start to die I’ll invest in 6s. My thought process I’m not to concerned about it being a perfect flyer ?. Tks for the reply subbed!
Did this quad come with GPS? And if it doesn’t can you reccomend one? Tks again for a newbie getting into these!
@armani007E55 No worries, have fun!
It didn’t come with a GPS. You can try the new GPS from HGLRC.
My maiden flight was my last flight as soon as i took of a motor locked up cause ing me to wreck I sent it back and getting a replacement

Maybe the screws were too long.
@Gal Kremer actually it was a faulty motor.
