I look at it this way if you have the hours to tune and instead you watch tv and use hypersmooth its cheating but if you barely have time to build fly and charge then no i dont think its cheating and im more interested in a pilots lines tricks and style over how long they have spent tuning most race drivers dont tune their cars the mechanics do now the hypersmooth is our personal pid mechanic

hyper smooth works really well – if u understand it – put old gopro on a rc car then put gopro hero 7 on it BAM no bumps in fotage – also put it on a jello monster of a drone n BAM no jello – i get ur points but it very well can be used and = gr8 fotge when other wise it would have been shit

Hi Willy, i would like to ask if you are using that 16mm lens on your A7III cause that lens is made for aps-c and should produce a lot of vignetting ? Beside that, absolutly love your flying style, keep it up !

On a 60hz monitor, I really don’t see any significant difference. If you are doing a lot of fast flipping and rolling, the human eye can’t detect little oscillations. It may help with some propwash or mid throttle oscilations, but it was primarily designed to reduce shakey hands for vlogging. I really don’t need a camera effect to smooth out my flying, that is why I practice daily and spend a lot of time on frame design, quality builds and good tuning.
if you mix the two clips 50/50, you’ll see the difference. If you really want to see ONLY the difference, take one clip and invert it. Now dissolve/mix the two clips. The image will be 100% grey if the clips are identical….where it’s darker or lighter, the clips are different. If you subtract 0.5 from the resulting grey image, and multiply that result up a lot, you’ll see a black image, with the differences appearing as bright coloured lines/edges.
