      What I don’t really get is why when you’re talking about FPV all you talk about is multirotors. Sure, there is a lot going on in MRs but there are also planes that allow for unforgettable experiences…

      I started in January 2016. It was a very challenging yet extremely rewarding fpv journey. I agree with you, I think nowadays new to the hobby wants to fly and fly only, not willing to invest their time in research and diy part of the hobby. Regulation is a must at some point, at least to train the basics: awareness of others, responsibility of your action, LiPo battery care. We got to this point of regulation because of the silly people who got the money to buy a flying unit but give no shit about others around.

      Drones are one of the most complex hobbies in the world. You have to learn about every part of the drone, how antennas work, how cells/size on batteries work, how to charge/discharge/storage the batteries, how to set up the flight software and that’s before learning how to fly xD

      And then video editing, sound editing…… You become a basic film-maker with a flying camera
