cool, wo gibst denn?
sagt er doch ganz zu anfang im Video ;
)
Great build video and review +RCSchim
seher schön ich hab einen Blackout schau dir den mal an
Blackout mini H 3.
gut gemacht
Danke poeli, beim nächsten Treffen machen wir ein airrace mit de minis 🙂
ja vielleicht
Nice job man I am building this frame too. Just waiting for parts….. I
think this is one of the best mini quads out there!
ATB Malc
RCTV-UK
Mini fever …i want one too ! Great vid as always ;)
These little buggers are the new Big thing. I wish I had thought of it.
Trouble is, everyone is sold out??
Great job as always.
look at my shoppinglist and maybe get one of these cheap chinese motors
instead…
Excellent….rooftop! :o) and build. It looks like a new sports racer quad
is ready for the track.
yes, our rooftop is great for starting fpv – but on the other hand you
souldn’t fly in urban areas these days… 😉
At least not your Black snapper! Great spot for hover testing though all
that boring flying stuff we don’t see :o) If I could afford shipping to you
your on the list for one of my adjustable multis. ;o) no wires attached LOL!
Cool man I started on 225mm CF mini, try some two blade props for a more
sedated experience and Nase is great for mini’s.
I’m not sure if I stay on KK2 – and even not sure If I should do a firmware
upgrade to the latest (I guess I’m on 1.2 or so?) – any benefits with new
firmware?
What’s better with naze32?
KK2 board is a bit too large to mount it in the center of this small
frame…
+RCSchim New firmware really helps the kk2
Nase32 is far superior to the kk2 8bit vs 32 bit small 36mm by 36mm
cheaper but aliitle more difficult to set up at first.
what fpv carmera are you using?
Best little frame 🙂
Why i never received nothing from anyone LOL
I’m happy to see you flying with a Mini-quad, it seems lot of manufacturers
want to go into this frame size, even hobbyking!
Thanks for the review :)
yes, it’s a trendy thing atm so alle the electronics are sold out. luckily
ubay gave me some good tips on the motors (got them from MyRCMart.com –
from China). good and cheap motors – I will post my shopping list later…
Very good frame, similar like blackout miniquad, RCSchim u should try
Naze32, its simple and smooth flying with FPV ..i was amaze too
i also use same motor as u are and glad the motor can lift up 580gram
weight…but advise from my friend the motor need to put CA glue, the
magnet from the motor is not holding out
Hi, maybe I’ll try naze32 later…
where do you mean to put glue on the motor? the mount or the “bell”.
If I use the glue on the wrong place maybe the motor will stop turning 😉
Very nice, compact and smooth platform for fpv. LIKE from me.
Looks Great my friend. Cant wait to see what you do with it.
Thanks, had some minutes before going to work and found that I should mount
an aditional fpv dedicated cam which is 4:3 ratio and wideangle.
HoryzonV3 would be perfect if you could set the liveout to 4:3 and have
another lense with wider fov. the short flight was a bit frightening.
the other question is if I will stay with the kk2 board…
what do you think is the difference really between kk2, nazalite, naze32 or
CC3d? doest it make so much of a difference while flying fast?
I don’t want to tune a FC forever to get stable flights – I love the
simplicity of kk2 or naza…
+RCSchim I always use a dedicated FPV camera. Especially with something
that you will be doing (hopefully) crazy proximity with. You need to be
able to see the detail (branches etc). As you probably know, I use the
mobius cam for HD video and its works just great for the price and size.
You seem to have tuned the KK2 pretty well, and its really all about
personal preference, what you are comfortable with and how you fly. I have
zero experience with anything other than CC3D on minis, so can’t really
comment. I love my CC3Ds though. If it works and feels good then go for it.
Having said that, the form factor and size of KK2 and Naza don’t really
suit a mini quad. There is no right or wrong as long as you’re having fun.
=]
Schaut Fett aus :)
What are your settings on your kk board. I have my kk board mounted on top
of the cg. Yours is very far forward, did you change any settings to make
it work so far forward?
sorry I don’t know the exact kk2 pids right now. I will update the firmware
and finally tune in the settings later.
kk board had no problems being mounte in front of the cg.
the kkboard is too big to fit between the distance booms – a smaller fc
like a naze32 would be better. maybe that’s an upgrade but now I wanna test
out kk here and see the difference to another fc board later. first proxy
flights were really promising. could fly inside a building between
obstacles and find it really nice to have such a small aircraft that can
fly through almost everywhere (a hole with 40x40cm should be big enough 😉
Looking forward to see some flights :D
you will see one soon 😉
just came back from a forrest flight – great fun these little things!
of course it will take ages to catch up with your flight skills (if ever 😉
but main part is already accomplished: it’s alot of fun!!!
Very nice mini quad.
I have often wondered about your setup, how you assemble your beauties,
interesting to see. Fun flying!!!
Very nice. Can you post your kk gains when you get a chance?
I gotta take a look on the quad at home, but I started somewhere near these
here:
Roll
P 70
I 25
Pitch
P 80
I 25
Yaw
P 75
I 50
Thank you sir 🙂
How are the rcx speed controllers doing?? Im trying to decide which escs to
put on it.
Nice Video, bin mir noch nicht einig, ob den Blackout H mini, QAV250, oder
sowas wie du hast. Der HK hat auch noch so ein FPV250 Racer, da hätte
sicher alles in der Mitte platz.
U lot are such rc neards
what was that LCD on top?
Just from the horizon vs cam
I love your clips, thanks for sharing! Check out my video also! ;-)
Thanks. So many crazy russians on quads? :-)))
So you make quad videos like I do – but on different quads. Really nice
(but dirty) action! Do you know the PC game “Spintires”?
Hi thanks, yes we have different quads and some crazy guys, you are right,
don’t know about this game, is it cool? 😉
Do u use the same battery for fpv too? Wat kinda battery is it? How much
flight time do u get out of it?
yes, in most my setups I have the balancer Plug as powersource for videotx
and cam.
this here uses 1600mah 3cell (SLS brand battery), get around 6-7mins
have u tried using a bigger battery to get better flight times? do u get
6-7 mins of high speed flying or will that be less?
nice just order my mini kit thanks for SHARE from NY PEACE
Ive haven’t had much luck with 3 blade props. Have you ever thought about
two blade? Are you getting more out of 3 blade?
I also used 2 bladed carbon ones. flew a bit more stable – but carbon wears
out fast 😉 so plastic props are cheaper and I wasted a lot of them 😉
plastic twobladed are maybe best compromise.
3bladed give me a bit more thrust maybe…
+RCSchim Thank you Ill have to get my hands on one of these quads!!
qWhat are the aprox total costs of it exluded rc transmitter and rc
receiver?
+Benjamin Coussement I’d say 200-300$ – but check my shopping list in the
vid description…
OKAY I WILL DO THAT 🙂
