He said he wanted to try flying so I put him on a simulator using full acro (never let him use horizon or level mode). Told him when he got good enough he could try the real deal and there you have it! Very few crashes and he did a lot better than I expected! Simulators are a must imo, saves you a lot of time and money.

Awsome rippin little bro, that was a fantastic first flight.?
Great! Glad you didn’t put him on horizon as that’s the most counterintuitive thing one can do. Back in my day when I started flying, there were no Sims and stuff and even for helis we had to just wing it ? flips and rolls are easy best practice is flying close to ground as that teaches precise control inputs. Give him a pat on his back, very well done??
Yeah these sims help people out so much (plus saves so much time and money from the first crashes, wish I had them when I started. haha). give him a couple months and he’ll be better than the lot of us!!! subbed so I can see his progression
colors looks good! aswell great rip π
Good job man! Keep it up!?
great training!
I did the very same but looks like it comes alot more natural to your son than it did for me he did awesome thanks for the video
Fantastic first fly, my first was crash in 2m of fly. Your son must fly, today younger faster learning, and just practice often.
What cam for HD ?
Awsome π good job kiddo!
