Pros
– 718mm wingspan ready to fly four channel aerobatics trainer. Comes with all needed equipment.
– Quickly and easily assembles and disassembles for easy transportation.
– Aerodynamically clean low drag design with no external pitch horns or control rods.
– EPP foam for crash resistance.
– Brushless 1406 KV2500 motor.
– Huge ailerons combined with its quick and effective stabilization system makes this plane very hard to stall.
– Can be quickly switched back and forth between normal stabilized mode and aerobatic stunt mode. If you get into trouble doing a stunt, just switch back to normal mode, let go of the sticks, and the plane will quickly level itself.
– Stunt button. Just press it while in normal stabilized mode and the plane automatically does a roll.
– 2S 7.4V 300mah battery provides over 9 minutes flight time of aggressive flying.
Cons
– It may porpoise at high power. But just cut the power back and it flies like a dream.
– Gentle flier under 2S battery power, but does not have a lot of “oomph”. Unfortunately, I don’t think that this plane can safely handle higher power batteries. And even if it did, it may porpoise when using such.

Man the RTF foamies have come such a long way. I cannot believe you can get a fully equipped foamy with nice sunnysky stuff for under 100 bucks now. Fro other videos I’ve seen that thing is tough too.

I purchased the Eachine mini mustang, I think this will be my next plane!
Now lets hope they will ship this one……….since there is a USA warehouse, my fingers are crossed…. extra battery… from China… we’ll see if it can clear customs……
Good to know: both the OMPHobby T720 and OMPHobby S720 will flick the rudder to one side whenever they fly out of control range and will circle down to the ground, so there is no way they’ll fly-away 🙂
I bought this one’s little sister, the T720, gonna give it to my wife as a “joke” Christmas present, so might be single by this time next week. ?
I know you’ve given away/donated quadcopters and planes to kids groups and schools in the past, my old friend, so the fact that you say this is “a keeper” says a lot about it. ???

i just received mine. i dont have a battery tester. would you say bring it down at about 8 minutes is safe?
btw holy cow this was the easiest plane ive ever assembled. just wow, no more glow stick days for me. no more trimming etc.
just wanted something very easy to put together and relaxed well controlled flights.

A 520mAh battery helps a lot with the porpoising behavior, and it still can fly pretty slow with this extra weight. Also works better when flying in a breeze.

Amongst other satellite receivers with sbus (or dsm) output the little add-on Futaba receiver for the Eachine E119 heli (from Banggood) will plug into this. Then you can fly it with better transmitters – eg the XK X6 transmitter supplied with the XK K110 helis etc. No idea of the range or additional feature controls yet till we do some testing – just bought it on spec since it’s cheap and the transmitters for the heli and planes are toy grade.
