You can use a wingless vtol that tracks a fob … place fob inside rc plane and vtol would chase plane wherever it went. Maybe offering interesting pov.
Congrats, fpv is really fun,enjoy!?
I don’t fly quads either…
I fly both and enjoy them both. Take quads as far as you like as you only have yourself to please. oh , and by the by , quads always break something and land upside down a lot. Half the fun is building, fixing and tuning. Flying is flying, pick your poison.
Don’t go to the dark side stay with airplanes LOL
what a great start up, SOOO entertaining! just started myself but I’ a proper wuss and went 3″…. Great vid as always.

was also going to say a great combo with the Sky04x goggles but can’t find the vid? You did do a review of them, yes?

Nice job! I have been looking at the Flywoo Explorer. Never really had a quad before other than a Hubsan H122D. There are some nice 4 inch long range cruiser’s out now with 30+ minutes flight time.
You are doing just great ?
Awesome Andrew! The props sound strange in the HD part, send me a blackbox log, we will tune that out!
I got into FPV quads this year after flying FW LOS & FPV for years, & I really like it. it’s well worth getting some sim time in – FPV Freerider is pretty good (& cheap) – it saves breaking quite so much stuff!
Andrew, when you get the speed up and rudder becomes 2nd nature you enjoy cruising low level through gaps etc. The wind doesn’t impact the flights much either. They say it normally takes about 20 packs before you get to grips with low level altitude control in the goggles. Enjoy…..
Your flight skills look a lot better than my first steps in acro mode back in2015. Welcome to the dark side 😉 Switched for quads to planes, you do it the other way around …
Nice going Andrew !! First flight with a 7 inch frame ??
Perhaps when you have got the tune to your liking you could post the CLI Diff on your website
So that we can see your tune and Setup!!
I love that on your second pack you were already in a row mode, like a boss,
Very nice!
Great review, awesome skills with a fpv quad.
Sir Isaac Newton “3rdLawFPV”
Awesome video.! Many “whoohoo’s”. Just want to say’; an armed quad is angry and will rip your face off. Be mindful of that.
great experience! I always though why don’t you fly FPV on planes?
Which lipo Andrew?
If there is one thing I can suggest to you as I too started in fixed wing before moving to quads. Don’t be afraid of Acro mode. Just fly Acro and you’ll be alright. I started with horizon and angle and honestly it just made me make more mistakes because you think the quad will always save itself but that is not always the case. Just trust your experience on the sticks already. Nice flight here Andrew. Quads are really fun! Cheers!
Why didn’t you go for Betaflight?
