I went and got my HAM license last summer because I knew this was
eventually gonna come up. The bottom line is anything over 25mw is illegal
in the US without a HAM license, even on 5.8. The lower frequencies like
1.3 you need the license to use at all, but on 5.8 you’re good up to 25mw.
Either way, I figured the FCC would eventually get tired of the FAA getting
all the headlines and start cracking down on this, so I figured I may as
well get ahead of the game for once. For any of you in the US, I recommend
just getting your HAM license and avoiding any future hassles. It’s not
that hard (about a week of running through the on-line guides) and you
learn some pretty useful information in the process.
in Italy fpv is illegal :(
yes we would love to see the stuff that you watch because maybe we share
your prospective in your interest ;)
Love it
Yes! Would love to see what you’re watching. Thanks Bruce!
If it fell from where it crashed to the ground (605ft) and hit someone
below. It could kill them… This operator was a moron and deserves the
full $5000 fine.
Bruce, you wanted a play station style radio? One is already out, id buy it
if it was FrSky just because I have so many FrSky recievers:
Interesting, I in the UK have the 400ft rule. So if you are controlling the
drone from the ground you can go 400ft, but if you are on a tower that is
400ft high how dose this work as you are already 400ft, As far as I can see
you could go 400ft above the level you are on. So if that is 400ft from the
ground you can go another 400ft giving a total 800ft. I could be corrected
but I have been told that the 400ft rule reduces contact with aircraft as
most have to fly at a minimum altitude 500ft over the highest ground points
and structures.
This has got to have some truth in it somewhere.
Yes!
turnigy evolution. turnigy evolution is the name of the transmitter you are
looking for sir. its small, lightweight, video game controller layout, good
quality, smooth etc etc. fulfills all your criterias of a small backback
radio.
Have you had a look at the Turnigy Evolution as I was thinking it would be
fine for chucking in a backpack but unless you say it is a good buy then no
way would I even consider such a purchase
Dear sir could you test de run cam night eagle into a stary sky, if it is

Mr Steele has nothing to do with getting us in trouble. If you see all the
drone crashes are from dji and filming drones. Mr Steele us a professional
and when he dives from building he does it from safe zone
