FPV drone racing (where FPV stands for first-person view or first person video) is a sport where participants control drones (typically small radio-controlled aircraft or quadcopters), equipped with FPV cameras while wearing head-mounted displays showing the live stream camera feed from the drones. The goal is to complete a set course as quickly as possible. Drone FPV racing began as an amateur sport in Australia in late 2014.

What about a clover antenna? Would that not be better on the cam? Could you
do a review on the types of antennas in the future? Which is better for FPV
do the antennas need to match, etc…
I was waiting for the crash into self part lol. Nice little quad overall
but the camera antenna is disappointing tbh.
Cloudy and cold day here too. I slept in (hibernated) this morning. 😛 Of
course part of that was because I didn’t sleep well last night. It’s still
in the 30’s and almost 11 a.m. That looked like some fun but I am not sure
$99 worth of fun. It’s so tiny. 🙂 I am a cheapskate though when it comes
to buying things for myself. :p – Heidi

Looks like a decent flyer Thor ?. Do you find 7mm motors draw more power
than 8.5mm motors and give a shorter flight time? I find with some of my
toy grade quads with 7mm give less flight time that some with 8.5mm motors
(direct drive). Thx Dod.

How does this compare with the Micro Voo for an all around indoor/outdoor
fpv fun flyer? I’d like to get something more satisfying than my Hubsan
X4(107L) that I’ve added FPV to. Having a blast with it,but would like more
punch and more flight time. So many options to chose from!
