SPEDIX S250Q FPV Race Drone Review – Part 2 – [Flight Test]
Here’s part two of my full review of the Spedix S250Q Race Drone http://www.banggood.com/Spedix-ARF-S250Q-Carbon-Fiber-CC3D-Motor-ESC-Propellers-DSM2-PDB-Combo-p-977495.html?utm_campaign=US&utm_content=huyue
Optional FPV Combo kit I installed during the assembly: http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-700TVL-13-Cmos-FPV-160-Degree-Camera-w32CH-Transmission-p-970051.html?utm_campaign=D&utm_content=huyue
Here I go through a good flight test to test how it fly’s out of the box after assembly. This quad seems like a great one for someone that want’s the satisfaction of building their own in an all in one kit with no soldering required.
Check out Part 1 of the review for the assembly, setup and mods.

Part 3 “Pros & Cons” back at the bench will be coming soon.
I like that
Cool! Good job! That FPV cam has poor dynamic lighting ability. I had my
new Xiaomi Yi out by the lake testing its dynamic adjusting ability
yesterday .. pointed it directly at the sun and could still see the ground
and stuff around it. As for keeping track of time, either bring a cheap
digital kitchen timer with you, and set it for maybe 4 min., or, if you can
set up telemetry, have your Taranis announce your current battery level. I
use the FrSky D4R-II RX in PPM mode, which can send back telemetry to my
Taranis, and I have it telling me the flight battery level every 15 seconds
(it can be any time you want). I’ve still not flown my ZMR250 in FPV mode,
only LOS. I can switch from Angle (self leveling) to Horizon, to Acro
(Rate) mode with the Taranis, and have only taken it up to Horizon mode,
but it does flip FAST even at that mode (3S on DYS 1806 2300kv motors). I
can fly all the nano/micro/minis and my pulse and BP remain normal. As soon
as I fly the ZMR250, everything goes off the chart … there is definitely
a lot of excitement going on with those little racers. Looking forward to
your wrap up. Cheers!
Great video. I wish we could see more your thumbs when you are doing manual
flips but I guess it must be very difficult to film and fly at the same
time 🙂 however the runcam seems to have a hard time with the backlighting
is that normal? Thanks again for your nice videos and clear explanations.
Cheers
very cool!
Nice!! I am not big on racers but this got my attentions. That thing
actuality rolled like a fix wing, Cool
Nice review thanks
Hi Dustin I forgot to mention, when you where talking and fighting with the
battery plug it came to mind a question that you might be able to answer.
Why don ‘t they put power switches on these bigger copters and would hurt
to do so. Thanks
