An avid DJI FPV user since the system was released and been in the RC hobby for almost 52 years. I’m not one for change but the TBS Tango 2 is the very first controller I’ve removed from the box that feels so comfortable in the hands. The Tango will now become my go to for all my quads and Futaba for my FPV wings. It’s a welcomed goodbye to FrSky and Jumper controllers.
: Keep your drone within your line of sight, or within the visual line-of-sight of a visual observer who is co-located and in direct communication with you.
30 miles is serious.
Wow! It’s looking pretty nice! ?
So I love my Nirvana with a Crossfire mini. But it has this giant screen for no reason and I onl6fly crossfire. When I heard a T2 was coming I hoped it would have crossfire built in and I am happy it does and will be ordering one. I put crossfire on everything I fly including my Toothpick. But my dream whoop/toothpick board would be a FETtec with crossfire built in.
None of my crafts have enough battery time to fly this far, that’s crazy
What kinda tricky is there 51k at 250mw huh.
What kinda antenna are y’all using
What’s the maximum range at low altitude?
Yes but I don’t usually fly my quad at 3000m altitude
hi, i need tango2, but it’s out of stock… when will he appear?
Bardwell is so salty he’s spending $1000 just to see what people want more a tango 2 or tx16s lol..
So stoked I finally ordered a CRSF tx l.R. Can’t wait till it shows up. Gonna set up all my rigs with CRSF. Thx. Trappy.
Damn!!!!!!
So what is the catch with this thing? The crossfire system costs $150. This controller cost $160 – $190. Something is not adding up lol. What does the crossfire system separately have that this controller with it built in doesn’t? I see it only goes up to 200mw? So is the difference in wattage? Kinda seems a little too good to be true.
Fly’s 10kms past “low link quality”… ??♂️
Let’s be honest. If we, regular guys, get 10km or even 8km I’d would be really happy, with 250mw. 50km? Come on. Something has been ‘improved’ there in order to reach such distance. The hype might be reasonable but not for those fifty km no one will never fly with a drone.
That’s cool. High altitude in the mountains. Yup, proves nothing.
How about a video on how to use it and bind quads
50 km Oo
How does the antenna rotate without losing contact?
TBS. Love the products. Your are true leaders here. But I don’t have any mountains where I live. Just countryside with trees etc. Can you come to the UK and test a few locations so I can see how this would work under true conditions please?
Is that a list of all the equipment used in the description?
Now I am thinking about this over dragonlink
That’s really impressive, congrats on the achievement 🙂
I wish you made a cheaper smaller pwm plane reciever (milli reciever?) and a whoop “pico” reciever, yes u can use the names lol
Can you make a setup video with audible alerts on the tango 2 for longer range?!
