This is a unique blend of race wing and mini quad technology. Makes for a very practical FPV wing setup. Very easy to assemble and comes with good quality components.

which camera do you use?
Will probably be ok on 3S, but motor will really shine on 4S, looking forward to the maiden. Concept similar to the MiniRaceWing, but much better price point. Happy flying!
Not sure how well it will crash with brittle carbon being the first point of impact.. should go like stink on 4s though.
Great to see all of the high quality T-Motor parts. Probably the best power package I’ve seen on a PNF Banggood model 🙂
I do like having a full length and height fuselage. I create those for my scratch-build foam parkjets. I would like to see some high G turns and rolls with the magnet held wings just to see how well they hold. I do like the idea. Nice setup video and I look forward to the maiden.
another blatant rip-off. mini-racewing already making one.
+Andrew Newton Banggood with partners showed they’re face again. Quite quickly they introduced this rip off from Mini Race Wing
Look at all the idiots saying this is a ripoff somehow. That’s like saying a car manufacturer “rips off” another by making a car with a sunroof, or a hatch-back door. And it’s not like hobbyists haven’t already been making DIY blunt-nosed wings with a central section like this for many years already anyway. Hell I even had this idea myself years ago. I also had the idea to build a colony on the moon. My point being, ideas are free and easy, but actually making stuff is what matters. Unless they have somehow stolen and used the same exact design plans there is nothing being ripped off.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the great info and video quality. Wondering what the video camera is?
I found a ‘trigger’ type soldering iron which is useful for cutting slots – given the correct shaped copper wire bends.
Also just thinking that it might be a good idea to ‘invent’ a magnetic servo connector (like the USB ones) which detach
when there is force like a wing pulling out.
Whatever makes you happy….
Great review, Andrew! I was thinking, maybe the “pigy-back” BEC is a inexpensive way to get noise free current to the transmitter?
WoW!……love the design
You know I have no more hanger space but maybe I can squeeze in one more ????
Nice wing, but that CF fuselage adds a lot to the cost apparently.
Howdy Andrew, getting some heat there fella 🙂 I won’t be getting one, not because it looks like the mini race wing, but because I don’t want that carbon lump in the middle. One screw up and that thing would hurt or at best get smashed into a million pieces. Carbon is great, but in the wing as strengthening, not a key part of the wing for me 🙂 Matt
It’s worth noting that the centre-section is *NOT* solid carbon… it’s that el-cheapo Chinese fibreglass with a layer of carbon on each side. It’s not as strong or as light as pure carbon but probably “satisfactory” in this application.
I think the wing will be very lively in the roll axis owing to the delta design. I am a bit afraid that if I visit your workshop I might be hung up like the poor ASW and the wet suit in the background to save space!
That looks fast mate, have fun and watch your fingers 😉
Your my favorite show on you tube ! Thank You Andrew !
