Comment Recomendations
1. Do not copy and paste from somewhere else.
2. Make it personal but not emotional. Let them know how you enjoy recreational flying and how the proposed rules impact your life and the people around you.
3. What type of pilot are you? What aircraft do you fly? be specific – describe it what you fly and how you fly it.
5. Where do you fly? Is it at a fixed flying site? How far are you from a model field? Either give the location or just give a general description of what it is like and why you fly there. This will help give the FAA context as to how and where recreational flying is taking place.
6. Propose that people should have alternatives to comply with remote ID.
1. Broadcast Solution – Basically equip aircraft with an inexpensive Bluetooth or wifi module that would broadcast out an identification number and your identity would remain private.
2. App-Based Solution – An app where Pilots could publically identify where they are operating their recreational models.
3. Network ID Solution – This is where your aircraft will need to be equipped with a telecom chip that will broadcast all flight data globally for each flight.

I have the “RIGHT” to conduct my skill,my time,and my labor as i see fit….not as arbtration of the FAA or the states see fit..it is UnConstitutionalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
They are messing up….this is some people’s hobby that has been around along time….for RC planes ,helicopter ,drones…and is there RIGHT….to there “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness “…..i just wish people would wake up and realize…what the Constitution of United States of America…really means…and that what the FAA is tring to do is UnConstitutional….and i will have to jump on the band wagon….for the lawsuit….it seems that people still have not learned …..how powrerful the Constitution really is. because they dont teach it to the people or kids in school…ITS TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE…HAS TRUMP NOT SHOW YOU ANYTHING…..
Good tell them what i said…maybe they will wake up before the the lawsuit starts…..

Josh/guys Thank you for representing us and our hobbies! I myself have 3 passions 1: model airplane building and flying. 2: FPV Quad copters building, programming and flying. 3: Camera Drones. I have a Mavic Mini and enjoy flying it. I started with planes when I was 16 I’m now 65 it was the best time of life to start that young, Taught me a lot! I’ve only been in FPV for about a year but it’s amazing building programming and flying and tuning to get it to fly just right gives you pride that you built it and made it fly.
Jack Thornton, Initial FPV is a 15-year-old kid that made this incredible video about FPV, that Part of the hobby we need every part of the hobby to make a video like this to show the FAA so they will understand what they are doing to the hobbyist every part, (anything that flies) as the FAA pushes its NPRM that would effectively ban the hobby and compromise young people’s right to learn.

“The FAA is clueless about the hobby.” Oh? Then how do you explain the footnote on page 64 of the NPRM:
“The ARC noted that it is not intending to encompass drone racing“
That is simply not true. They know exactly who we are and what we do. Anyone at the FAA who claims to be unaware of us is lying, just like the lie that this has anything to do with “the safety of manned aircraft and security of the NAS”. The entire concept of RID is based on nothing but lies and unsupported speculation, and it must be rejected outright. Anything less is an admission of guilt to a crime nobody has ever committed. I know you guys at FT are the nicest guys on the planet, but when a federal agency puts out a pack of falsehoods this egregious, it’s time to take off the kid gloves and put on the brass knuckles.

The FAA don’t understand how full scale aviation works, just look at the boeing max debacle. They are a joke all around the world in full scale aviation.
Now they’ve come up with a bunch of rules and regulations pertaining to the model hobby side of aviation without knowing anything about the hobby.
Yall are awesome. i cant think of anyone better to show them what this hobby is actually about. i feel like we now have a chance to have this work out for everyone and not kill our hobby
I just realized something! While the FAA wants remote ID on model airplanes, Drones and Helicopters, What about all those model Rockets that can go as high as 3,000 Feet..??? why do they get a free pass?

I think the rules will be enacted and the government will send enforcement officers to flying sites and try and grab as many aircraft and charge as many people as they can. Welcome to the communist party of America. I think the corporate influence of companies like Amazon and FedEx are going to get their way and make us pay so they can make more money using drones to deliver packages. We the people means nothing anymore. With the communists coming into power within the administration of un elected officials making laws that they won’t be held responsible for the impact. Even with the feedback of everyone making comments being against these rules, there is no doubt in my mind the laws will be enacted if nothing else just to “regulate” the airspace.
