I think for the sport to grow they are going to need to integrate vr and
video stitching. Viewers could then slap on there vr goggles and it would
be more of a tech experience.

Having the drones evolve into Wipeout game franchise-style craft is my wet
dream. I really hope this *takes off*.

i like the miami track way more than this one.

wow that is wild. it probably would take me 30 minutes just to get through
the first loop… I had got a toy drone stunt thing from someone and I am
terrible at flying it. I looked at the chinese manual of my toy drone and
apparently my whole confusion of flying is that I need the chinese style of
controls instead of the usa style. I have so much trouble just hovering the
usa control version.

Waiting on EA to buy out the rights for the first game.

normally an rc race of this kind for a set time is number of laps covered
ie how many can you complete most laps wins

Imagine using an occulus rift or something like that… with a 360 camera
on a drone.

Drones need to be bigger and people need to ride them, this was kind of
boring but cool in a way.

One day these races are going to be man sized drones and people with be
sitting in them. Cant wait

the only thing i guess i would complain about would be the lack of racers.
i know it might have something to deal with radio freq but still it would
be much more entertaining with for say 16 racers.

im sad because im only have drone syma x5c

For serious racing and more spectators the size needs to go up. From baby
class to real big ones and be prepared to risk not just loosing the race
but the big drone too. Why people go to F1 races? to see something
incredibly expensive driven by the best taken to the limits of both (the
new rules makes it bit more like a boring kind of chess game though )

This is ridiculous. How the hell do you learn to fly a drone like that?

Awesome idea, but it should evolve more, so the track can react on the pilot’s achievements, and the public can be more involved to the show. You’re pioneering the new kind of a sport here, don’t make same mistakes as F1 did, which is boring as hell now. Make it powerful, make it kicking, clash real and digital worlds, create an amazing UX, while you can!
