Could I fly it around a building / structure successfully without completely losing signal?
Has DJI hinted at something that would fit in my AK Crossbow frame?
I know that l have held off buying anything, to save up for this HD system.
Would you please scan the market for upcoming competitors..? I’m kind of waiting for DJI v1.1 OR an not as pricy alternative ..
Get the audio transmitted? I heard that audio on the records (airunit) is only present in high latency/quality mode…. maybe sound is also only transmitted in this mode? I am a audiofan like steel *g*

Superview of 16:9 does not look good. Or did you crop the 16:9 Air Unit recording to 4:3, and then do the Superview stretching of the sides to fill 16:9?
What is the smallest drone and battery setup that would be able to fit this quite big system? Any ETA on Betaflight OSD support? Could you show us what u see in the inside of the goggles? Thanks!
And lastly, are u required to use DJI controller or will they release a module for taranis etc.
Got to try the dji system out Sunday at our race here and wow. The image in the goggles is amazing to fly with and for racing holy crap the track is soooo clear. I just gop they can get it to where more pilots can be up at the same time without interference with some of the other drones in the air. But if it’s just you and one or two other people up flying it’s fine. More than that and some quads get messed with as far as the video signal goes.
So much crap in the community around this. I’m sick of it. I’m a fan boy all day.
I fan up for performance and advancements not companies. I don’t care who makes it.
I can honestly say I’ve watched many a Albert Kim video. Your honest reactions while flying told me all I needed to know.

Do you think DJI will come out with a single screen box goggle style version? I tried the goggles but couldn’t get my eyes to see a single picture, but it did look great with one eye closed.
Analog won’t be dead until everyone can afford digital lol. Considering DJI’s overinflated price, it’s going to be a loooooooooong time!
you did get one thing rite it blows fatshark out of the water its funny that the haters who spent 1000bucks on hdo and rapid fire now dont have the best. i personally dont care for fatshark oled at all. i mean the whole point is to have the best video clarity ,dji did that hands down…just a thought.
Thanks for the impressions Albert! I agree with you. I have one of the best analog setups available right now and it does not compare to the DJI system. I am keeping my analog stuff for anything not big enough to carry a DJI system. I will have my analog setups and my HD setups and I am fine with that. The clarity and control range of this system is absolutely amazing.
I got a DJI system too. Its amazing! BUT! Be warned, do not use the wrong voltage regulator if you are running on 6S . I used one that was only rated at 600mA . So when it gave out my Air Unit Melted. Make sure you use a voltage regulator it is rated closer to 2A. Luckily DJI is replacing my Air Unit for free ^_^ . I also now have a Pololu 9V Step-Up/Step Down Voltage Regulator that should do the trick.

I’m happy with super my light quads with analog video. No plans changing to DJI anytime soon. It is impressive, but I’ll still stick with analog. Thanks Albert.
