We speed test the Eachinee Lizard 95, Blade Torrent 110 on 3S, Eachine Wizard on 4S and the Blade Torrent on 2S.
There are alot of factors to speed pid tuning, battery quality, props, pilot along with many other environmental factors.
To the best of our ability we made all things equal by using the same prop, batteries, radar gun, and time, location.
We always are asked why cannot I not use higher voltage packs on my quad. Pay close attention to the Torrent on 3S (11.1v), notice how it does not fly smooth, this is because the Torrent in this video was tuned for 2S.

I’ve done nothing but work on the eachine lizard… camera wasn’t stable, the Rx would drop bind for whatever reason, The accelerometer&gyro stopped working for no reason. Too fun to let die… so I added two Caps, stand alone fpv(no osd), lc filters, f4 Fc, 28amp esc/Pdb, Betaflight 3.2, R-Xsr Rx… we’ll see but it’s been an expensive pain in the ass…

Nice. I have a wizard with 2205 2300kv Cobra ? motors after a motor ceased up and I had my first flip of death ? “a loose bearing in the bell housing” It is so much smoother all around with fantastic thrust/punch! I also have a Lizard ? being dropped off today with a few goodies ?!!!

0:30 : 100+ mph ground speed (the speed it will hit you at;-) is the real deal in the Gorge on a downwind leg as we get 30-40 mph winds on the days flown and that’s not up top where it REALLY blows and you need to drop down to move forward.
good lord torrent sucks, ive got one and esc is so horrible 25×25 pattern and also 6amp esc and they claim 3s which is what kills these esc.. motors dont feel the best that ive seen.
Hi. I built UAVfutures upgraded $99 build (I think it’s comparable to the X220) but this Lizard is currently being sold for $90. Do you think this would be an upgrade in speed? The tiny size and fast speed are what appeal to me. Maybe it can even be flown indoors with low rates and prop guards.
I just put in my order for one of them Little Lizzys. Funky little monster. I can’t wait to fly it so hard!

How are you able to get an accurate reading with a speed gun on a drone, when you have to be within a specific and narrow angle range to the target? Wouldn’t a GPS speedo be more accurate / reliable / cheaper?
Non of those are even close to be called a fast production drone, why don’t you try quad from real brand like lumeneer, armattan, diatone or even Karearea, etc… with real battery like the tattu racing series???

My wizard is running Emax RS2205 red bottoms, with DAL T5040V2’s and it HAULS. I bet Im over 80mph full throttle. Its noticeably faster than the stock motors. I’m also running Tattu R-Line 1550mah 4S battery’s. Tons of power! Watch my latest video if you’re interested in seeing how it preforms! 🙂
Man you should wear a helmet or something while doing this. Even if it’s a micro, a micro at 76MPH will probably mess you up.
Could you guys do that again with cyclone props on the wizard and gemfan 4 blade on the lizard? Anyway you might be convinced to Do so.. I have both but.. No radar gun!
Fun video guys. Try crouching behind a sheet of plywood with a slot in it for the speed gun. At my local MultiGP club when they do speed tests the really fast racers are over 100mph. The speed gun guy tucks in behind his shield; doesn’t want to be hit with a 450gm 120mph projectile.
I’d love to see one of the RocHobby planes doing a speed test. I have the Strega and it easily does 100+ mph but lands really slow.
Cut those prop guards off that Torrent!

Help please. Tried to fly the lizard95 with my DX6e but having a few problems. When I arm the lizard it throttles for a bit then the motors shut off. I calibrated the end points on the DX6e by adjusting the rxrange in betaflight. Instead of 1000, the low end was 1189. before doing this the motors when arm did not shut down but the lizard did not take off when the throttle was increased. Quite confused here. Not sure what to do.

The racer 250 is really a 280. I have one and it measures 280mm.
Hey guys.. On the Lizard 95 how did you get rid of the vibrations I hear about? Noticed you changed the props are the 5 bladed no good? Different pids or did you change or turn off filters? How about soft motor mounts?

Hey guys try the torrent with out prop guards and with the 2435 4 blade props it’s makes a huge difference I have both the lizard and the torrent and my torrent smokes the lizard with the 2435 props the lizard can only fit 2 inch props I also was able to fit a Runcam micro on the torrent which will not fit on the lizard so your stuck with that crappy fish eye view and I replaced the receiver with a xm+ receiver on torrent so now it has the same range and great video like my 5″ quads both the lizard and torrent are great quads the thing I like the most about the lizard is it’s osd but the torrent flys way better imo with out prop guards and 2435 props the stock triblade props are terrible they are not balanced well and cause bad vibrations if you take prop guards off make sure to use shorter screws or else the stock screws will hit motor windings and burn out esc

Good morning, friend, I bought a lizard 95 and I have a problem with its stability. When I put it in the angle mode it gets left puffing so I go with the rool to the right but it goes more and more until it has no way to control. It is calibrated in betafligth, the motors too, the calibration of the controls are all ok.
What’s going on because I can not make him stable. Is it a defect in the controller? Give me strength, my friend. Thanks.

The prop guards really hinder the performance on 3s..feels like twice the punch with an eflight 11.1 50c 450, my usual 2s is a 800 35c and the difference with and without guards is night and day

I like the speed test of quadcopter drones , but my feeling on the outragous disregard for human safety was appaling, have they no idea what damage would be sustained to the human body that had been struck by one of these high speed missiles?? the common ruling on responcible drone flying clearly states that you should not be flying around people and certainly not within FEET of the top of the guys head with the gun, no matter how skilled they think they are its not big and its not clever and then there is the risk of component failure especially when pushed to limits, have good fun guys but please take good care.
I think if I were to operate the radar gun,I would wear a helmet.
