This is definitely not your typical pocket drone, mainly due to the very different but functional transmitter! The drone itself could be considered very standard, though that is definitely not a bad thing in this case! It doesn’t claim to do things that it just can’t do, but in fact it flies really well, and that’s what a beginner is going to be looking for in a budget drone to learn to fly on. What really makes this quadcopter stand out, is it’s included transmitter! The joysticks (some refer to the as gimbals) are reduced down to short little nubs that surprisingly work just as well as a standard joystick in my opinion. Now, I’m not sure I’d want my true hobby grade RC Planes and Race drones on this style of joystick, but in this case, it’s a very welcome change of pace. I’d like to see more transmitters like this! I’ve had the Syma X21W for a few months and it’s all the good of the X20 with removable batteries and a pretty decent camera. I think you’d like that one a bit better and it isn’t that much more expensive now.

There are no degrees of more or less uniqueness; unique means one and only one. Unique goes beyond unusual. VERY UNIQUE is nonsense.

It’s one of the only small drones I’ve had that flys like something bigger it’s tone is hilarious and if u fly it outside at speed… It’s a blast!
I have had an X20 for awhile now. It is just such a fun little flying drone and so easy to take with you on the go and fly pretty much anywhere. For the price, it’s hard to beat! Great review by the way.

I ordered one and it’s coming tomorrow. I just got into the hobby and I’m starting slow and cheap. I already have it’s big sister, the X5HW and I’m quite happy with it. Well, thanks for your videos, I’m sure I’ll be watching many of them.
I have the Syma x20, I bind it with my x8 controller. It give it more range and stability. Have flown it out 300ft and back without any lagging in signal loss.
