This is the very first run of the RC boats we bought recently; they were cheap as we were unsure as to whether or not this would be something we would be into. They were enjoyable whilst they lasted so who knows?♂️

This is the first time we’ve ventured away from rc cars in our short time in the RC world. But it will not be our last…
Some of you seeing this video might say that it was the salt water causing the boats to glitch and not the fact that they’re inadequately waterproofed… I would be inclined to agree with you, although a boat should be waterproof enough to prevent water from meeting the electronics; after all, what happens when a real boat becomes filled with water? It begins to sink…
So albeit, salt water is never ideal for an RC, you would expect a boat of all things to be able to cope with water… Or is this wishful thinking? Let us know in the comments below!

Pesky salt water messes with the electronics.. salt water has high electrical conductivity
My boat gives me fits all the time. But, It’s good to have when you get the urge. Great wave jumping!
We know salt water doesn’t do well with electrics on the whole… find our thoughts in the DESCRIPTION ????
EDIT: Thanks for the feedback about the conformal coating; this was the first time we’d had an RC that wasn’t a car so tbh we had no idea about this stuff looool… next time you guys see these, we’ll hopefully have this issue solved thanks people??

hi guys. try TECHSPRAY ACRYLIC CONFORMAL COATING. SPRAYED THE INSIDE OF MINE WITH THIS. Have not had any problems with it since. Use it on all my esc and rec, waterproof,s them. Crawlers bashers boats planes. It works even better if you open up esc, rec, then spray. HAPPY RC,ING GUY,S. LOVE ALL YOUR VID,S.
