The additional slider on the QX7 isn’t a stock feature. Nice!
Hi Andrew, I purchased a Volantex Ranger 1600 as well as motor, components and best beginners radio based on your say so – so no pressure! I’m about to assemble and put everything together so this is a very timely video you have put out. What I would like to ask you, is if you could cover batteries in more detail. From how to choose what’s right for your motor/setup. How to use, charge, care and store batteries. Also connections- why are there so many different connections- XT 60, XT 90 etc Regards, Gary, Perth WA
Andy, perfect video for beginners. Just what I was asking for a few weeks ago. Most appreciated. Bring on the next one about the sbus and flight controllers… cheers again. Mick UK
Have you tried the Frsky Simulator dongle?
They are inexpensive but I have not found any simulator software that works with RC planes only multi rotor.
If you have any information regarding this Frsky dongle please pass it on or maybe a video on the subject.
Been a long time subscriber and really enjoy all your flight/build video.
My best to you and your wife.
Cheers
Ripper information, cant wait for the video on SBUS
Good Tutorial. Another great $$$ saving tool for beginners is the Rc trainer programs with transmitter for PC, cost about $30, helps get the feel of the transmitter and seeing what inputs look like on screen, instead of learning by crashing for real, like I did !!
Not for one of the earlier videos in this series but how about doing one that covers twin rotor planes and setting them up ?
Great video as usual. Wish I had been able to see something like this two years ago
Please use your excellent education and tallents to give us a detailed, in-depth tutorial on how an average hobbyist such as myself can upgrade all the operating system and related softwares in a Taranis X9D plus. Although many others have attempted such tutorials, I always find them somehow lacking. (Yes, I know it’s MY fault, not theirs. But it is part of my human nature to never blame myself ?.)
Clear and concise , excellent video , I’ll be sharing it with anyone who asks about getting into RC . Unfortunately for me I’m heavily committed to Spektrum gear having bought several Safe + models before being educated enough to realize how ” proprietary ” their system is . Currently intending to try the Lemon receiver / stab controllers , do you have any experience with them ? Keep up the good work , looking forward to your next release , be it educational / building / or flying .
How do you center the servos
I have the E-Flite Maule M-7 with a E- flite 40a ESC and I have a Spektrum AR620 that I ordered and it’s on the way.
Does it matter what receiver you use with this ESC for example a frsky receiver working with a Spektrum ESC? If you have any suggestions, Please do…thank you and happy flying!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge about this. I’m a beginner and this is a big help for me. Cheers from Philippines
