It has capable motors & ESCs, and a FLOSS-inspired frame, but the FPV & DVR setup do not work well, severely diminishes the joy of flying this powerful machine. The video system is so flawed that it makes little sense to fly TS215, than its predecessors X220S or even X220! To truly enjoy flying TS215, I would have to replace the FPV system with Runcam Split. This requirement makes TS215 a less desirable FPV racing or freestyle platform.

Thanks for the review. I was actually thinking about getting one but I’ll be waiting until these issues are fixed or an updated model comes out. Interesting thing about this hobby is the speed at which it is developing.
Howdy brother 🙂
can you (maybe) grip the motors with that ‘gun’ when screwing on/off the props??
I do hear audio in the onboard recording by the way…
So yeah.. I’d say: just get rid of the DVR board, and rip it 🙂 Your FPV feed will be quite a bit better
Nice flying quad, but your right that’s unacceptable interference in the FPV System. Thanks for the video and Happy Flying!
