Years ago I used a big New Idea spreader to sling chicken poop on an old wore out field I was renting to my cousin. I covered the field in the fall so to dissipate ammonia before planting in the spring. My cousin planted soybeans that year. The beans went crazy. They got 6’ tall. Problem was that the weeds were 8’ tall. Cousin never spoke to me again.
At least we got to see what the manure goes through ….
