I like this cinequad but reviewer’s curse struck again. Be sure and watch to right to the end of the video for a better example of flight footage.
Pros:
– flies/handles very well
– excellent FPV performance thanks to CaddX Vista system
– good flight times, even with a small 650mAH battery
– noisy but much quieter than some other similar cinequads
Cons:
– those screws!!! Fortunately, it seems to be just my unit affected
– deep ducts means wind will have an effect (but less than some others)
Summary:
If you are looking for a cinequad that can carry a full-sized GoPro or other HD/4K recording camera then this is a very good option and seems to be made to the usual GEPRC high standard with good quality components.

Lighter is better to start with……
Excellent review. Geprc in the future could possibly ship them without the ducts attached. Would help with initial setup.
How does it compare to DJI’s own sub 250 drone?
Cool statues in the end! A bit heavy copter. You’ve seen my eachine review, once stripped of its useless guards it was down to 101gr! And as you say, by making it lighter it also got more silent.
Like the RunCam as well. Will see if they want me to review it as well π
Today I fitted the caddx vista already to the next quad (emax pro). Which is a 210 frame but not a lot of space there. I think about just having the caddx vista for recording. Low quality he dvr still is ages above former analog dvr…
And with a lightweight and so powerful machine freestyle awesome. Might get a little flippidy floppier on my channnel π
Greets, and wish you some more flyable days in this approaching winter days!
Once you are up to that weight, you should just build your own and the bit with the usb c is just unforgivable garbage having to literally break a brand new quad to program it. Wow terrible. A simple extension moving the usb c connector to a favorable location on the body would be so easy and more professional for a buy and fly at that price. They better go back to the drawing board on that one. (Lol , as im typing this comment, youtube is playing that scam Xdrone ad in the background. What a complete farce! Its a different craft in every video clip they use. What a scam youtube look at your dam ads geez!) It is evident that the buy n fly market is flooded with 3rd rate china garbage. I think ill stick to building my rc aircraft for now. Then at least im screwing together my own china garbage hehe.
Cheers
Hope youβre feeling much better Bruce β€οΈ??
I hate hex fasteners, because im nervous they will strip if i ever need to remove them. I never build with hex if i can.
I bet they did not expect you to really examine it close just fly and they made sure your screws were not going to loosen. π Forgetting the vista.
Rip off those ducts and itd be a winner
It looked like the coppers were checking you out there at the end, did you see that?
While I understand using what’s included and all but why on God’s green earth wouod you use a “L” wrench in the first place instead of a proper driver? Especially after you stripped the first one why continue on?
β₯οΈ????
does duct length have any effect on efficiency or thrust?
Large drag inducing 3d printed (and low quality) ducts? Even I wouldn’t do that on a consumer quad and I dont design or build them. Do these companies just think people will buy poorly designed products?
What gopro mount does it come with, one for the 4,5,6,7 or the 8? and at what angle?
Do these flexible ducts save you if you bump into something at low speed? Does the quad fly better without them?
This or the taycan?
Nice review, thanks! Cinepro or Cinego in the end?
ok, I am confused, this is the CineGo review, but at the end it is all CinePro?
