This cheap foldable pocket FPV camera quadcopter can be taken and flown just about anywhere to get those all important selfie shots 😉 Buy it here http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-E50-WIFI-FPV-With-Foldable-Arm-Altitude-Hold-RC-Quadcopter-RTF-p-1105949.html?p=RB0922217402201307U3&utm_content=xujiatong&utm_source=rcgroups&utm_medium=quad101 and here is the Dobby which this is imitating http://www.banggood.com/Zero-Dobby-Pocket-Selfie-Drone-With-13MP-HD-Camera-GPS-WiFi-App-Control-Foldable-RC-Quadcopter-RTF-p-1057414.html?p=RB0922217402201307U3&utm_content=xujiatong&utm_source=rcgroups&utm_medium=quad101
But it’s important to understand that this is not a GPS equipped, HD camera, follow me drone like the Dobby. It’s a $42 toy quadcopter, and is equipped accordingly. If you keep this in mind, then you might not be disappointed.
The app to be used with this is “WiFi-UFO”, and is available on Google Play here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lewei.multiple.lewei&hl=en and iTunes here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wifi-ufo/id977558457?mt=8
Pros
– Foldable and very portable.
– Includes nice velvet carrying case.
– Easy to setup and fly. Especially using G-sensor control with headless mode.
– Includes altitude hold feature to ease flying.
– Tilting lens 720 x 576p camera, and can be flown with the camera pointed toward you using headless mode for those selfie shots.
– It’s relatively inexpensive compared to the quadcopters that it’s imitating.
Cons
– This quadcopter does not come with any directions at all in the box 🙁 But it’s very simple to figure out. Just use the above video review to get you started 🙂
– Low resolution 720p x 576 camera.
– There is no microSD card slot on the quadcopter. Video is instead recorded to your phone over WiFi, with resulting lag and freeze issues normally seen with WiFi FPV video.
– No separate controller is available for this. Can only be controlled using WiFi through your phone.

what is the best drone with wifi fpv and is small and under $55?
You have excellent reviews. As of this month January 2017, what is the best value (feature/price) pocket drone?
Hello, is it possible to use the Eachine E50 with a Gamepad-controller? Thank you.
Tks for video.. MINE has one key HOME.. Top left of your phone is a ARROW pointed left thats the one key return.. or it does on mine great video
great review. helped me decide if this is worth getting. Looks like it should be just what I want! Thanks!
thank you, I’m learning how to fly my eachine e50 from your video here ! ??
please tell me how to unlock it to fly! on the instructions is shown a different app frame and tools than the one is now downloadable. i can’t find unlock icons!!!
i’m a rc modeller…i know how to fly it but not where to enable motors! wifi is locked, lipo is full charged, app is on, camera works, app works…but i can’t take it off in any way
how did you get yours to start at idle? Mine jumps into the air and tries to “hold” somewhere around 6 feet high which in an apartment with 6 foot ceilings is no good. I can pull down on the stick two or three times and then get it to start idle and then have it “jump” to 2 or 3 feet at the first setting. If I restart the app later, I have to remember to pull down on the virtual stick a few times or it will slam itself into the ceiling with its default settings. Controls for steering seem to be backwards, (but not throttle) even with headless mode off. Is there any way to fly it “normal” without the pseudo altitude hold?
Hello, I need help I just got an JJRC H37 dron, I can connect to it with my Cell Phone using the Wifi UFO app but I don’t how to flight it, please help
If i don’t will be recording it will be fly longer?
Nice video – I didn’t know about the ability to fly it by tilting the phone – that’s pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.
Have you tried binding it with another transmitter? you should have plenty to test it with!
