Don’t know where to start? Here’s a complete guide for beginners
when new FAA final rules beging, a Daylight Waiver will become obsolete is my understanding. correct ?
is this compliant with all the new FAA rules coming into play in near future that were made known early in 2021 ? ?
Who is the 61 cert for?
Can I pass the test just using this video or is there another video you’re selling?
I have the test tomorrow, you think I can pass? We will see 🤷🏼♂️
Thank you for this. Very helpful information.
I’m thinking of getting a remote pilot certificate. When I get this certification, will I need authorization in order to do rooftop inspections within 5 miles of class C airspace which is SFC/21 msl? Thanks
I passed my test this morning with 85%. Your video was very helpful over my week of study. Thank you.
Got my test scheduled for Monday!😁
Highest quality video on the topic so far.
Taking my 107 on Friday. Thank you for your video!
Passed my FAA Part 107 Exam today with a 92%. Thank you for a helpful video.
Good stuff ! But I’ve read you can only use contact lenses. Not binoculars
I want to do it but I’m 12 and I have to be 16. It makes sense but I still hate this
Haha I will not be “policing” recreational pilots on how to use their god given liberty in a country slowly turning totalitarian. If public safety isn’t affected leave them alone.
I took my Part 107 exam today, and I was disappointed that I passed with only a 78. I studied for two weeks, watched tons of videos and took about 12 text exams on which I consistently received scores from 93 to 96. Hardly any of the material I studied appeared on today’s test. The test focused a lot on sectional charts. There were a lot of trick questions and questions that didn’t make any sense. I know I can take it again, but why bother?
Just took this 4/19/21- I watched all the major videos on youtube to study as well as some practice tests. I passed with an 82% BUT I definitely got lucky and guessed on like 20 questions. There was a lot of material that I was not prepared for. I thought this test was pretty difficult and thought I was going to fail half way through it. Huge relief when they gave me my score.
Thanks for this resource! This helped me pass (this morning)
Amazing! Thank you so much for offering this free resource! No gimmicks, no clickbait! The real mvps
where are the quizzes/tests to take?
I can’t get over the amount you need to memorize for this test. I just want to do real estate photography, so more often than not the drone would be just slightly more elevated than the house I’m photographing lol. Plus it’s really annoying that you have to do this test every 2 years at $160 a pop. But a drivers license is good for 8 years or so! I wish they had different licenses for different drone uses.
Seems like that they as u lots of weather questions. I’m watching this video now. I’m hoping to take the test soon. Hoping I pass on first try.
Great stuff, and really appreciate this. For those just getting here, note that, as of this writing, it is not updated for the changes that just went into effect and were rolled out in the exam on April 6th. There are a few items that are in direct conflict with the new rules, but it’s really, really minimal and any viewer can catch up with the changes in literally 5-10 minutes. Key changes in the immediate term are in retesting requirements, night rules, and flying over people. The latter requires that you also meet a requirement that otherwise won’t be fully implemented until 2023.
Thanks for the video! Breaking down how to read the Metar reports and knowing how to figure out what direction aircrafts are landing or taking off from are the two things I was struggling with!
What is this app you have I don’t seem to fine it anywhere
I just passed my exam with 87%. I want to thank you Brandon and your team, this is one of the best training courses I’ve been enrolled in so far. It was very well organized, I’ve followed the entire course for about 2 hours a day for the last 2 weeks. I also followed the FAA resources, but most of the information needed to past the exam was in this amazing course. And on top of that it was FREE! Unbelievable, after this, I would love to give millions likes to support you guys. People looking into pass this exam absolutely need to follow this course. If you want to become a remote pilot you’ll need to learn how to comply with the law and some other very important things to fly safely, it’s not about to try to find the answers and memorize them. At the end is for our safety and your pocket! Again, Thank you very much ALTITUDE TEAM!
I watched a few videos to prepare for my exam, but this one made everything sooo clear. It answered a ton of questions I had an helped me pass with flying colors!! Definitely recommend.
Best guide out there! I passed first try! Thank you !
Jesus this is good
OK this is a great instructional aid, but……I am at the 41 minute mark……and instead of the quiz mentioned in the last module….it is just continuing to the next module…..how can I access the quiz?…Thank you..
Wow! This video dropped 10 days after I signed up for a drone online prep course?
Got my test on Tuesday. This helps big time. Your study guide is sooo much better than Tony Northrup’s study guide. His is a little old but he tends to ramble a bit, dragging it on more than it needs to.
Just a correction for ya, at 1:03 you compare cold air with warm air but you’ve got it flipped. Cool air is actually denser and results in better flying conditions than hot air.
temp increase -> density altitude increase
You guys should really add a donation link or something. Your guys video definitely cost more then what it appears you make. Am I missing the link? I got a 93% on my test because of you guys and would love to donate. Website looks great and very super helpful to me passing. Thank you!
New subscriber here! Currently studying for my exam and this is definitely one of the best videos I have come across! Y’all are the real MVP’s!

Don’t know where to start? Here’s a complete guide for beginners…
I stumbled upon Altitude University’s course soon after deciding to go for Part 107 certification. The course was excellent and, quite frankly, I don’t understand why they are not charging for it. I can’t compare this course to the many paid courses out there, since I have not taken them, but I can’t imagine they are more comprehensive or better produced than this one. For about a week and a half, I spent maybe an hour a day either watching the course or taking practice exams. I augmented the Altitude University’s practice exams with a few other, such as King Schools’. I felt very prepared going into the exam and passed it with 97%. If you are looking for a great path to get your Part 107 certification, take this course and take their practice exams – you’ll be ready.
Just passed my Part 107 exam with a 83% 05/17/21 I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to put all this information together, I really do appreciate it!
yo, you’re the goat bruh
Watched the Tony Northup Video and did both parts of this course and the exams. Got an 88% even with a handful tricky questions/answers.
Can you take this test BEFORE purchasing a drone?
So pilots drinking at the bar before a flight out is illegal?
A really great study guide – thank you!
These guys are amazing, thank you so much for this free course!
Watched this video and studied the map legend and passed the exam today 🙂 thanks guys!
Thank you and your team for helping others. Found this video while watching the other 2 that are heavily mentioned and passed with an awesome score, even the proctor asked how I scored so high. Ok, I made that part up, but it was pretty high. Thanks again, and should you ever be in S.A., Texas, let us know!
