Does this work with Android phones, or only iPhone?
Hi, the video is good in 4K now I had some bad image quality on the first test…1, It still won’t update from sd card anymore. 2, loses altitude when turning left. 3, the control sticks have a large area in the centre where nothing happens on both sticks that makes it so you cannot control the drone, you push up nothing happens until you get past the dead zone, you push down nothing happens until you get past the dead zone, you push forward nothing happens until you get past the dead zone, you turn nothing happens until you get past the dead zone its like this for all the control directions. 4, follow me mode does move the drone the camera and drone rotate and follow but the drone does not move forward and follow you as advertised. 5, flying a drone should be fun and give you the feeling of flying freely the drone is boring because of the loss of control. 6, the drone is too slow. 7, air brakes too strong no smooth stop. 8, gimbal levelling goes off but then comes back randomly during filming. 9, dont know if the battery charger is a real balance charger????. 10, no customer service just liars. 11, video modes other than 4K are of poor quality. 12, drone loses connection when flying directly above me, I have to point the controller at the drone. 13, sport mode yaws/rotates slower than normal mode?…. The pros 1, waypoint works great. 2, return to home works great. 3, flight time is very good always get 17 mins + at full speed more if just hovering and if you land at a 20% battery level. 4, drone gets hot when standing still but is always cool after a flight very surprising. Hubsan please fix the control problems,,, PID tuning 1, fix dead zones in the control sticks, 2, fix falling down when turning left, 3, fix follow me mode to actually make the drone move position and follow me as advertised. 4, fix the sports mode. 5, needs more forward speed….. if you fix these issues this would be the best budget drone ever instead of the biggest letdown…~I bought this drone to have fun flying and not to just have it hover in one position or fly in only straight lines… no fun at all at the moment
to top it off my Zino no longer updates from sd card…the latest firware have fucked my zino…the video is so bad worse it was fine before now it is unusable also dangerously unstable in flight…dont buy this drone its not worth the bullshit it just got bad to shit… I want a refund or simply bin it

I did not see a compass calibration, could have cause some issues. Also antennas were pointing too far up. Seen other reviews with much
better results. It’s half the price of a Mavic, so is it fair to compare. Saw one video that the drone flew over 800 meters before losing signal,
Then drone turn and flew back into range of the controller and then hovered waiting for command.

Did Hubsan ever fix their TimeStamp bug? Every Hubsan I’ve ever had had the same file date & time stamp (I believe 2017) followed by some number.
You will be happy to know I contacted HHubsan and they rereleased it for 2019 eliminated all the glitches. I am excited because I really like their product and the pricing.
This unit still holds promise if the problems it had initially are fixed. I think you may need to do another review.

Hi Dustin, enjoying your videos thanks. Looking to purchase another drone after selling my Hubsan H501S. Despite the Zino being newer and more compact, I get the feeling from watching/reading reviews that the Xiaomi Mi Drone 4K may be the better option. Would you agree with this? Thanks
Something happened that I need to tell everyone. My Hubsan Zino made two perfect flights and in the third he had a blackout in the middle of the flight, fell out of the sky and got lost. The battery was charged and all the calibrations were done. It was night. I was staring at him when I saw his lights go out as I gave the command to fly backwards. He was not far away but even looking for 3 days in a row I could not find it. To make matters worse the flight log was not recorded. I do not know if it was after updating Zino or X-Hubsan, my first log have been deleted and new ones have not been saved.
In response from Hubsan, I received the following answers:
“I copy your feeling for the lost and also believe it may crash on the way back home for some reason”
“Anyway, normally the drone will not turn off by itself during the normal flight, except it run into something and crashed down”
“Sorry, I do not mean to suspect what you mention in your email, just a little weird”
If it was not enough the toilet bowl, disconnections, fly aways and wifi problems we now have Zinos falling.of sky. I’ve seen right here in the group a user who had the same problem with a 501S. That was my first and last Drone from Hubsan.
Zino is a good drone, I liked him, but if a problem happens, you’re screwed.
Xiaomi Mi FIMI X2 IS BETTER…. it has 10min longer battery + ground sensors. Price is kind of the same. Just remember to get the 4k version. Because there is even cheaper one for 200buks

Haven’t been able to find any info on Framrate for 4K video…. on 30? Is there a 24p mode?
Bad that the Zino is about the be discontinued, you can find some coupons, they are in clearance.
I’ve found that the best way to position antennas is 90º from each other, signal seems more stable for some reason

This is the video that helped me make my decision after watching multiple this was the most in-depth. Also could the “weak gsp accuracy” be because you didn’t calibrate the gsp after you crash? I seen that it’s best to do so after each time I shuts down. Even tho u did bind your remote. You didn’t gps calibrate the drone

1st negative inexperience driver body I call that before it happened you don’t fly it that fast it takes a few seconds for the height to register in that’s all it needs to crash a split 2nd sorry coming
I would say, mine is a piece of shit.
Camera is garbage.
DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM HUBSAN. I pre-ordered the zino then wished to cancel my pre-order (at least a month before it intended to ship). No email response whatsoever. They then sent an email out saying that the zino shipment would be delayed and that if this was unacceptable, the pre-order could be cancelled. I asked again to cancel the pre-order (because I didn’t get a reply the first time). I then rang up to confirm the pre-order be cancelled and me refunded. They said they would do it. THEN I GOT AN EMAIL THAT THE ZINO SHIPPED!!! I was away on business and my partner received the package accidentally. I took it back down to the courier to be return-to-sender. Long story short, somehow someone requested the package be destroyed. Now I’m being passed around between the couriers and hubsan AND IT LOOKS LIKE I’M NOT GOING TO GET BACK MY $600 AUD. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. they don’t read their emails or respond. IT’S A GARBAGE DRONE ANYWAY. it doesn’t even have an ultrasonic sensor. if you don’t want to pay for DJI and want good bang for your buck get XIAOMI / FIMI.
If I get one it will just increase ZINOmber of drone’s that i say goodbuy to as they dis-appear.

When you did that sport mode sharp right turn, it started a death spin, I don’t know if you noticed. The 501s I had did this alot. Sad they haven’t fixed it. It will crash eventually.
I had the 501s and the GPS was really good locked.
