This cheap foldable pocket FPV camera quadcopter can be taken and flown just about anywhere to get those all important selfie shots 😉 Buy it here https://goo.gl/ddUAa0 or here on Amazon http://amzn.to/2pW1CNL and here is the Dobby which this is imitating https://goo.gl/qyZKHP
But take the marketing videos that you may have seen for the JJRC H37 with a grain of salt. This is not a GPS equipped, HD camera, follow me drone like the Dobby. It’s a $42 toy quadcopter, and is equipped accordingly. If you keep this in mind, then you might not be disappointed.
Pros
– Foldable and very portable.
– Easy to setup and fly. Especially using G-sensor control with headless mode.
– Tilting lens 720 x 576p camera, and can be flown with the camera pointed toward you using headless mode for those selfie shots.
– It’s relatively inexpensive compared to the quadcopters that it’s imitating.
Cons
– This quadcopter does not come with any directions at all in the box 🙁 But it’s very simple to figure out. Just use the above video review to get you started 🙂
– Low resolution 720p x 576 camera.
– There is no microSD card slot on the quadcopter. Video is instead recorded to your phone over WiFi, with resulting lag and freeze issues normally seen with WiFi FPV video.
– No separate controller is available for this. Can only be controlled using WiFi through your phone.
– The official “JJRC” app is not very useful with this quadcopter. Some of the features of the JJRC app are inoperative, most notably G-sensor control. BUT the free and very similar app “WiFi-UFO” does work with this perfectly. “WiFi-UFO” is available on Google Play here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lewei.multiple.lewei&hl=en and iTunes here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wifi-ufo/id977558457?mt=8
Vendor’s Description
Main Features:
– WiFi FPV
Its 720P camera allows you to get great selfies effortlessly (again it’s real resolution is really only 720 x 576p, and may actually be interpolated from a 640 x 480p image sensor) . The 100m control distance offers you the awesome bird’s-eye view. (Unfortunately I did not confirm the 100m range, but this would be very dependent on the strength of the WiFi signal from your particular phone)
– Headless Mode
In this mode, the drone flies to any direction you want even though you do not know its orientation.
– One Key Return
After flying the drone for a long time, you can relax a little bit by using this function to make it return to the home point.
– Aerial Show
It is capable of carrying out 360-degree rotations towards various directions with amazing agility.
– G-sensor Control
The G-sensor mode enables the small quadcopter to automatically follow the way you move your smartphone.
Package Contents: 1 x RC Drone, 1 x Battery, 1 x USB Charging Cable, 4 x Spare Propeller

Any suggestions why my elfie goes forward and then goes to the right side when I give it a throttle?
Had anyone tried using a Bluetooth game type controller to control this? Eg: A Moga Pivot?
which one easy to controll and good camera?jjrc Elfie or eachine e50?sir
is it work for IP5s?
Doesn’t look like a very stable flyer!
Not true 720? But I just bought it today 🙁 Still a better “right now” option than $300 😛 Thank you so much for the video! Hope I end up liking drones enough to upgrade.
bad cameta …:(
Good value for money. It is what it is.
Hey! Do you have any idea why my elfie drone suddenly decreases altitude when I perform flips? It decreases a lot of altitude in a way that it touches the ground and causes a great impact which makes me worry. Thank you!
What are you recording the video with? A GoPro? Love to free my hands, but the audio is so-so
does it have auto follow mode?
Very nice shirt.
I have a stupid question. can I use this without fpv? is it gonna extend battery life?
Thank you for putting this great review. Think you’re helping a lot of people work out if this is for them or not. Cheers
“The official “JJRC” app is not very useful with this quadcopter. Some of the features of the JJRC app are inoperative, most notably G-sensor control”
I thought this was true as well, until I learned that one must “touch and hold” inside the right hand control stick circle. As long as you touch and hold, when the G-sensor is activated the JJRC works well. The drawback is if you lift your finger off the touch screen, the G-Sensor will deactivate.
Mine is more laggy can you say me why?
hello can somebody help me. i am new user of this drone. just brought this morning. and i don’t know where is the videos i recorded earlier on my drone. all the photo automatically save in my galery i used Samsung mobile to operate this drone. but i want also the video directly save on my phone but its not here.what should i do to have all the videos from the app to put it on my phone? please help me. i am hoping for your replies soon. thanks????
I’m just curious how well this handles the wind. I don’t mind phone controls so much, but they heavily “mute” the rates with phone control with the CX-10WD. It flies great in wind with the TX!.. Not so much with the phone, and that’s my worry with this one. It’s bigger, it could kick the crap out of light winds… Or it could just be a great big sail.
nice video, just saying u sound like u are always short of breath, have u get yourself check? it could be nothing though..
Any chance to get the WiFi UFO app working with a BT remote controller (gamepad)? 🙂
It would be soooo cool if I could control my JJRC Elfie drone with the joysticks of my BT gamepad!!! :-))
Just got mine today spent 20min chasing it round a fucking field ???? tried fine tuning keys, not much difference.
Will try that different APP headless mode and gravity induction next time ????
My man sound out of breath af
whats the range on this?
best T-shirt EVER!!!!
This product is a joke.
Mine doesn’t start when I hit the button bottom left on the app – any ideas ?
