Hey Pete, this easy mod will help people with all types of camera vibration problems.
For any type of camera vibration, memory foam is a miracle. Cut a piece a little thicker than the gap in the rubber ball mount. Insert it between the plates. You want a good snug fit, but not too snug. Can be used in any situation where a camera might rattle. Not just any foam, must be memory (viscoelastic) foam. The little foam pieces that come with some drones, cameras and mounts are NOT memory foam. You can get a small piece for about $15 on Amazon. 1″x15″x15″ (a lifetime supply for the tiny pieces you would use in drones). Memory foam was actually first used by NASA in the seat cushions because of the tremendous vibration on takeoff in the capsule.
