My card reader (from the x5c-1) was working very well, but unfortunately
it’s not working anymore (after a few days only).
Great review, Andy!
My assumption about altitude hold had always been that it would make it
much easier to fly fpv, as maintaining altitude seems to be a common
challenge when fpv flying.
I also have an original X5C which is the quad that helped me break my
orientation barrier too.
Hey sry for all the question, but what are these Modes? I think that they
change which switch is for throttle and which is for moving around but why
are therer 4 modes then?
Great vid btw :)
NO!! Altitude hold should only be added if you can turn it off…and
proprietary batteries mean DO NOT BUY to me.
Why don’t you take the connectors off the battery and quad and replace them
to the losi which you prefer
That battery looks like a small 380 tho, unless you have giant hands so it
just appears that way lol
good video, thanks for sharing
An 808 camera is definitely a match for the X5HC for good video since many
others have attached the same camera to the previous version with excellent
results. By the way, why is the flight time shorter than I thought. Others
have reported 7 mins with the camera on and 8 1/2 without, perhaps the lipo
hasn’t gone through enough charges yet?
Hate this trend of sticking alt hold on all these rtf quads :/
Hi Andy, the camera of X5 is good for the price 15$, what do you think ? :)
I changed all my quadcopters the small have JST plugs and large have XT-60
you just have one to change. You could make an adaptor. cheers. I know
out of the box review.
The battery connection can be changed without even soldering. Jeff Suits
has a video on how to do it. No biggie, but I agree trying to force people
into buying your batteries is silly and may actually cost sales of the
quad.
