Syma X8W Syma X8C Quadcopter Range Test with 5db Aerial Modification02:54

A new altitude test with my Syma quadcopter since fitting a 5db aerial. Similar range for me as with the original 2.4 ghz dipole. Limit is just my eyesight, I’m flying as high as I dare without losing sight of the craft. But below 500 feet of course as are the rules.

      Thats pretty high! How much of a benefit did you get compared to the stock
      antennae? Also, maybe a rough landing?
