Taking out his DJI drone, which features one of the latest 4K GoPro cameras, this quadcopter pilot attempts to initiate the RTH feature, but his drone winds up crashing into the only geographical feature around!

rofl
go pros rock. Those last shots of clouds are gorgeous! LOL
that fall looks violent bro
Awesome crash!
Gonna wait until Intels RealSense technology is inside these quads before I
spend that kind of money
The camera still worked!
User fail not RTH fail, fail No1 putting a huge slab of rock between you
and the aircraft blocking the radio control signal, fail No2 having no
understanding of how the RTH feature on a DJI works (fixed RTH altitude)
Autsch!
One tip if you use RTH go to a very safe altitude first that makes it so
much easier.
in all fairness the way it landed looked pretty good lol
How about not breaking the law, Flying a RC in a Federally owned park is
illegal, wondering why we are going to lose our rights to play in this
hobby from asshats like you.
Love the durability of GoPro camera!!
Well it’s your fault man not rth failrue the drones cannot see
Daaaamn! All I seen was Gimbal and Sky…
User failure….
Another stupid pilot who doesn’t know how RC works. Stop flying dude, you
make us look bad!
Nice sunset…
Doosh
this so so painful to watch
Why did he initiate RTH without a clear line of sight. It is his fault.
This looks to me to be an obvious mistake, if the pilot was on the other
site of the feature, then the feature itself would have obstructed the
signal, triggering a RTH, and since the quad was already higher than the
default altitude when RTH is triggered, the quad just figured its clear to
make a bee line for the home location, I’m willing to bet my arse thats
what happened, the pilot was on the other side.
would have liked to see a pic of the aftermath lol
пиздец!
Love that dramatic music to back up the crash.. Lol thx for the laugh
hahaha stupid drone
*OK I have a question about these so called “drones”, I can see how if you
connect a GoPro to a quadrecopter it can be considered a drone, even tho I
don’t prefer to call it a drone, because these are very different and are
practically toys compared to real government class drones… However I am
curious to know if they are able to see the footage live as it is being
recorded by the go pro, by connecting a tablet or smart phone to the
controller of the drone perhaps?*
beautiful footage tho!
Same thing happened to me today and I decided to watch crash videos the rest of the night to make me feel better. ??
what’s the music
On the plus side, he got an incredibly beautiful shot of the sky.
here’s mine
yester day we got footage of are drone crasing into a wall and some guy running it over
Didn’t set minimum altitude properly
not worth the money.
Where is that filmed?
